[img=115003]yangarang[/img][small]Work in progress.[/small][/center][collapse=Personality]Yang's character was described to her voice actress as "the sort of person who would teach someone to swim by pushing them into water." That speaks miles about her confidence and boldness. However, those two traits are not all there is to Yang Xiao Long. When not in a combat situation (and even most of the time when she is in one), she is cheerful, energetic, and bright, not hesitating to crack jokes or to smile the whole way through a fight with an opponent she knows she can defeat.

With her friends, Yang is light-hearted and happy a lot of the time. However, when she needs to find information, or when she is particularly angry at someone, she drops that attitude and adopts a much more straightforward and no-nonsense one.

When the members of Team RWBY were discussing why they each wanted to become Huntresses, Yang's reason was simply "because I'm a thrill seeker." This is true, she does enjoy fighting and the like. But, her reasons run deeper than that. Her mother was a Huntress as well, and after she went missing many years back, Yang also has adopted that as a sort of subconscious mission. She wants to find her mother, be there for her younger sister Ruby, and find strong opponents to fight against.

‣ Though my profile says I have no preference as far as post length, I do generally find myself either matching my partner's post length, or posting anywhere between one and two paragraphs on average. In all honesty, I am fine with any sort of post length as long as I don't put in a load of work and get minuscule amounts of effort back. Quality over quantity, and all that, but I also expect a bit more than two or three sentences each post.
