[color=gray]On first glance, people see an [b]easily-embarrassed[/b], [b]shy[/b], short girl with shoulder-length, feathered, [b]black hair[/b] and a knack for subtle cosmetics. Because of her slightly-upturned nose, she usually keeps her head down, looking up through her dark bangs with her large, brown eyes. On her pale skin, freckles lightly dot across her nose. She keeps herself fit, but never from visiting a gym or an exercise regimen. The near-daily walks through the woods keep her body in its healthily [b]slim frame[/b]. Her thin, yet toned, legs are slightly tall in comparison to the rest of her body, but she sees this as a vice, disliking any stares or praise given to them.

To those she doesn't know, she's silent, shy, secretive, and sometimes seemingly selfish. However, to those she holds dear, she's something different: a [b]very kind[/b], [b]caring[/b], [b]selfless[/b], and even playful girl with aspirations as tall as she is. The more you get to know her, the less the first impression stands. Though, even to her closest of friends, she never likes talking about herself, and she holds many more than a few secrets, the more minor of which being her hobbies.

[collapse=Hobbies]She loves photography, even if those photos never make it off of the camera, and when she's in the forest, surrounded by the frantic tranquility of nature, she's most at home, most able to think. But within the walls of her house, she listens to orchestral music and even plays the violin, though you'd never know. Another secret is her love for geography and geology, even if she does get the two mixed up on occasion, and will sit down with a textbook, learning about the world in the least abstract sense possible. The long, terse, and pedantic phrasing almost comforting, even if it bores her.[/collapse]

[collapse=Clothing]Usually, Victoria's attire consists mostly of dull, [b]earthy colors[/b], soft, natural fabrics, and conservative, [b]long-hemmed dresses[/b]. She almost exclusively wears long-sleeved clothes, no matter the temperature outside, but when it becomes too cold for a dress, she wears fitting, but still loose, denim jeans and an old, Grandmother-knitted sweater. When the situation is less formal, she likes skirts, but never wears anything higher than her knees, and dons long socks or stockings with her shoes. Though, on the rare special occasion, she'll wear a pair of earrings, usually a small silver-and-emerald heirloom pair. Her shoes vary widely, though she only owns a few pairs. She has her slightly-militaristic, [b]low-cut boots[/b] for when in the woods, surrounded by birches, the well-worn, but decently-cobbled tennis shoes for everyday events, and even a pair of 'risqué,' never-worn, one-inch heels, still in the box.[/collapse]

[collapse=Her Life]Victoria lives a [b]quiet[/b], [b]simple life[/b]. She works at a small, never-busy, bookstore, and lives in a smaller house on the edge of the city, closer to the forest than the urban sprawl. Her quiet, and admittedly strange, life has made her live alone, and long-gone heartbreaks still weigh on her mind. She only really has two friends she keeps in contact with, Susan James and David Grubbs, but both have been slipping out of her grasp ever so slowly. She grew up in a regular [b]middle-class house[/b], the white picket fence, and family dog. But, after leaving home, she moved away and lives now on the edge of the woods, reading, playing violin, and learning about the world. She never went to college, but passed high school with decent grades, and now lives frugally, but comfortably. Her walks through the woods, the violin, and books keep her going. She casually enjoys tea, usually drinking Bancha, Lung Ching, Formosa, or other green teas, and when the world begins to bring her down, will have a glass of red wine, though never anything fancy[/collapse]

[collapse=OOC Stuff]I like music of all kinds, but particularly world folk music, post-rock, noise, ambient, molam, and others.
I also like movies. My top favorites are Stalker, Solaris, Dr. Strangelove or: how I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, 2001: A Space Odyssey, City of God, La Haine, Brazil, and many others.
I like tea, so there's that.
