Tori Derley is sort of a… catch-all character. Tori is less a character and more of my face when interacting with the f-list roleplaying community. While she does have a primary character, I use Tori for a lot of roleplays that don’t always even involve Tori. Sometimes I use this character to roleplay ideas from other characters, simply because I’m on Tori most often!

However, if you’re looking to roleplay with Tori specifically, then common themes involved would be slice-of-life stuff, scenes involving wrestling or friendly sparring matches, adultery (though Tori and Bailley have a pretty…. Open relationship and don’t mind sleeping around AT ALL), gangbangs, power imbalances, and any scene that might require a wealthy character.

She love's being on equal ground with people. She is a firm believer in giving and receiving in all things. If her job does not matter then she's the head of a nameless law firm or business corporation), martial arts, and her family. She's been training for years, specializing in Wing Chun and Tae Kwon Do, with enough Jiujitsu and Aikido thrown in to make her a reasonably skilled combatant on the ground and in the clinch. [collapse=Posting Style and Quirks]I've run into a few issues over the years with partner style clashing with my own, so I thought I'd put this together to try and eliminate confusion early on.

1) My post size will vary, but I will always try and respond to your content. Anything you say or due in your post is going to be discussed. If your character grabs mine, I'm going to respond. If you say something, I'm going to reply. That's what is necessary for RP to be engaging, and I expect the same. If my character asks a question, and you don't respond, that sucks. If I touch your character, and you don't have any reaction to that, that makes me feel bad. I don't need a paragraph reaction to a hand on the wrist, but something that acknowledges it happened is appreciated. Now, sometimes I will respond to a detailed description with something to the effect of "my character feels your character's touch and sighs with pleasure" but sometimes that's all that's needed! So, respond to my content, I'll respond to yours, and we'll have a good time!

2) I don't follow a formula, but my RP posts do have a general structure. I respond to physical actions performed in your post, respond to dialogue. I acknowledge emotional/mental reactions my character is having as well. Then I perform my physical actions, and add new dialogue. If your posts don't have these components, we'll have a tough time playing together. I don't need each of these components to be a full paragraph, and some interactions don't need them all. Sometimes my character's dialogue IS the emotional/mental component. If we're doing a nitty-gritty detailed fight scene, I might just focus on the descriptions of actual moves instead of adding new dialogue for us to engage with. But still, I try to do this stuff in every post. Reply to your posts, add new material.

3) I will not ever make your character do anything, unless we're specifically doing some kind of mind control thing. I may push your character around, force them into new positions, lift or move them around, etc, but I won't do anything that requires your character to make a decision. I won't put words in your mouth, hurt your character, write out how they're feeling. If we're doing a fight, I may occasionally establish a hit, but I won't establish how damaging or painful it is. I expect you to give me the same courtesy. Do not take the back-and-forth out of the play. Genuinely, this is a mood killer. I've cut off roleplays because people can't stop doing that. You'll get warnings, of course, I won't ghost you for it. But I think I provide enough in my posts for anyone to reply to, you don't also need to order my character around.

4) I'm a big fan of OOC conversation. I will, when approaching someone, send them a single post where I note what I was inspired by in their profile, how I found them, and what I'd like to discuss. sometimes I'll also put actual concrete scene ideas in that first post. Then, every subsequent interaction will usually be proceeded with a "hi, how are you" and only after that will I ask to continue our play. Also, if you have a direction you want to take our play, just say. If you're having issues, just tell me. If you don't like the play or my vibe, just tell me! I'll bug off. I'll give you the same courtesy. If I have problems, I'll tell you so we can resolve them like adults.

[collapse=Pet-Peeves, please read]This list is actually pretty small, and NONE of these are an "Immediate Block I hate you" type of thing. They're just a few things I want to mention.

[color=red]1) I don't like it when people refer to me (the player) with terms of endearment or other familiar terms. Friend, dude, amigo, compadre, comrade, and other things like that are fine, but no hun, sweetie, babe, or the like. And I'd like to avoid being played with directly. I don't like when people walk up and say "rubs backside on you" or stuff like that. If you like to do this, I'm not going to be like "I HATE YOU" I'll just politely ask you not to do it, unless you continue to do it after numerous mentions of it making me uncomfortable. Over the last few years my lack of comfort has diminished, but I'd still prefer you not do it unless I give you express permission to do so. You can call me by the character's name or use their pronouns, or you can call me 'Poison.'[/color]

[color=blue]2) People who don't like you to augment your characters to fit into a certain plot/setting/story, and people who refuse to do the same. This mostly applies to a few MLP players I encountered who absolutely refuse to play with anyone who is not an MLP character. I'm not going to create a whole new character just to RP with one person from one setting, and why would you expect me too? I am NOT limited to this one character. If I'm online as a specific character, then its probably because I have RPs with that character that are currently ongoing. Why should I be expected to log into a specific character JUST to match ONE rper? Usually I will do it, but you can only have 3 chat tabs open and I've got a number of characters. I may not have ROOM to open another one. So if you've got "no human characters" and I approach on a human character, its because I don't have any space to open up a furry character, or my furry character isn't at ALL what I'm in the mood for. Bottom-line: none of us are our characters, period.[/color]

[color=yellow]3) People who don't reply to people in chat after several days or after repeated messages. I get if you fall asleep or are AFK, but when you DO come back to log out or turn it off or whatever, you'll see the posts. They are bright red (or purple in the other chat thing, I think) and stand out. PLEASE respond to them with a "going to sleep sorry," or send a note, or make a note to yourself to get back to the person that messaged you last night at some point. If you aren't interested, please let me know. I don't want to have someone bookmarked and message them multiple times if they aren't interested at all. I think its just a courteous thing to do. That's the big one: if you're not interested, i need to know that or I'm going to continue bothering you without realizing I'm bothering you.[/color]

[color=pink]4) Blocking out of nowhere. You do NOT have to block me if you don't want to RP with me. If you're not interested, just say you're not interested. If we're planning a scene and I do something that annoys you, tell me. If I we're RPing and I do something that annoys you, tell me. If we're planning a scene and I post something that makes you uncomfortable or grosses you out, just say "Never mind, I'm not interested anymore." I'll apologize, wish you a nice day, and unbookmark you. I'll use memos on your page to say "Offended this person, do not contact" Bottomline here is do not punish me for making a mistake. Inform me of my mistake so I can learn from it. The end result will be the same: I won't bother you anymore, but its much less hurtful and upsetting.[/color]
