Thand is used to getting teased. Ever since he started his career as a tiny adventurer people have found it so easy to make a joke or give him some kind of distinct negative micro-expression before feigning friendliness. This all would be fine, normally, however, given his acute hearing abilities, he picks up far more from his surroundings than he'd like to, the tail-end of insults, snickers from the distance and the like. Of course, if he were any less an abrasive jerk of a monster he'd probably have to bare with far fewer affronting remarks hurled his way.

Anyway, what you've got here is a grumpy little rogue. A touch taller than five and a half feet but enough spunky energy to fuel a dragon. He's quick and nimble when he needs to be, can float through the air (Albeit very briefly), climb up trees, all that good rouge-y stuff. He will almost never back down from a fight unless the odds are far higher stacked in his enemy's favor and he's incredibly loyal, loyal to a damn-near fault.

He wasn't always like that, though. The Bat usually stuck to adventuring on his own. Plundering coffers, cutting down meager fiends, trying his damnedest to pick between what to take home from a dungeon and what to leave. It wasn't until he met a certain someone that he became a bit more social. That he became a bit less trusting of the rest of the world. Where he became a touch more grumpy. All this changed, [i]he[/i] changed, when he met... [i][b](Insert your character's name here)[/b][/i].

The last time they saw each-other things were different, but, the most staggering change is that the little runt of a flying mammal they once knew has grown up to be quite the charlatan. Maybe they can work together once more? He certainly hopes so.

Thand has been adventuring on his own for years. Swallowing the realization that he was never going to see his good friend ever again proved to be a challenge, but he'd brave it, just like he'd done with every other setback he hurdled on his own. Things would be so much easier with someone at his side, but nobody could replace his old friend, nobody could replace, [i][b]you[/b][/i].
