Her pretty red hair was a dull copper in the barely-there light of the lamp, and the reflection of the neon 'ELEVEN THIRTY THREE' from her clock reflects in her bright eyes as she hovers over the notepad full of scribbles, doodles and math notes. Her hair never seemed to curl any more, not the way it used to when she was really, really little, so she often didn't do anything elaborate in tying it up. A pencil and rubber band was all she needed to force it into an ugly, messy bun - but looking good in the comfort of four familiar walls wasn't high on her priority list most nights.

A buzzing breaks through the undercurrent of silence being silenced by the blaring music and occasional burst of static; her phone's vibrate going off yet again. She groans and drops her pencil - Num. 2, as always - to reach for the phone, pushing broken potato chips and a few empty grocery bags to pick the phone up, swipe the screen on, and glares down at it through her reading glasses. Muttering along under her breath as she reads the text message from a friend, rolling her eyes, and then tucking it down between her legs as she sets back to ordering the calculations for her bills. At least if she was going to be dragged into their melodrama, the vibration between her legs would mine some good out of it.[/sub][/color][/indent][/indent][/indent][/indent][/indent][/indent][/indent][/indent][/indent][/indent]
[heading][color=red]Post Preface ::[/color][/heading][hr][small]I usually don't liked fixed back-stories, or complicated prose elaborating on a characters' personality and prior experiences. Tara's personality and past changes depending on the nature of the story she is dropped into, and as such I'd rather such exposition be developed in the process of RPing, or in Out of Character planning. The one constant factor as to her characterization that does not change from story to story, besides her appearance, is her likes, dislikes, preferences thereof that pertain to sexual things.

In general what I'm looking for in playing Tara, is that she be a vessel for expressing a variety of personalities within the physical shell of the same girl. Her backstory might have some similarities from story to story, but she is never entirely the same person. My preferred type of role-play is story driven; I do also enjoy a fair amount of sex, sexual situations, and everything between - but the focus should be on the characters or character for the most part.[/small]
