Carol Harper is is a pretty ordinary girl most of the time. She loves meeting new people and thrives on harmony. She has a relentlessly upbeat attitude, and insists on bringing people together and remaining hopeful in any situation. However when supernatural threats arise, Carol transfroms into the magical girl Sugar Diva. Her scepter acts as a magical microphone that can alter the sound of her voice, amplify it, and even focus it into a beam. She can also speak into the minds and hearts of people; She usually uses this power to embolden other magical girls she allies with. She isn't very tough by herself, and in fact can do little more than annoy a monster or villain if she finds herself facing one alone.

Despite her lack of power, she's never been in a bad position for very long. She's been very lucky, someone always seems to come to her rescue soon after things turn sour. This has led to her having an unshakable optimism, and she deeply believes things will always turn out okay if you never give up hope.
