Skye, being a hacktivist and generally very astute about solving her way around problems, made her a prime candidate for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s needs. Her sought-after skills that the organization needed of her was her know-how with computers, hacking, and analytical data processing. One of Skye's major responsibilities to S.H.I.E.L.D. is utilizing her background as a hacktivist to assist S.H.I.E.L.D. and their efforts to thwart terrorist organizations such as HYDRA and to perform their jobs to assist the Avengers and other superhero groups with superior intelligence and proper planning. Skye is quite resourceful and is very good at her job.

She's also been training with state-of-the-art technology and personnel to make her combat skills extremely efficient and potentially deadly. She is trained in many fields of martial arts. Although she lacks superpowers of enhanced strength or coordination, she can hold her own against those without special abilities that enhance their physical combat skills. Much of Skye's background is unknown to others, even herself. Skye never knew her real parents, but her ethnicity is of biracial Chinese and American descent. She was orphaned at a young age and once free to the world, discovered the hacker group known as Rising Tide and perhaps due to her oftentimes impressionable behavior, she helped them hack into high-profile databases, trying to expose secrets of superheroes under the guise of "freedom of information". She wasn't too aware of the nefarious underpinnings of the group, but she did believe in the cause at one point in time before seeing the value that some "secrets" can hold for national security and for the lives of the superhuman that walk among S.H.I.E.L.D..

Skye often shelters her real feelings and "eccentricities" of her personality through dry humor and sarcasm. She has a problem getting too close to people, even if she is typically very friendly to people who don't try to kill her. Skye is very thick-skinned due her unstable upbringing and the amount of people that have betrayed her in the past for money or even social advancement. However, she is often prone to trust others because she feels like her character and ability to read people is very good — which it is, but the right type of person can catch her off-guard. She's not easily manipulable, however, as she's a little too stubborn about things and feels like if it's something she should change — she'd have done it already. She's very cunning in how she handles a lot of intense, dangerous situations.

Skye is very loyal to the people in her life, and she always wants to keep friends and people she trusts close to her — she doesn't like any sort of confrontation, but if it happens, she's a very good improvisor and is sharp, both of which S.H.I.E.L.D. were very aware of when inviting her to become an agent for them.

At the end of the day, she's not unlike most girls of her age. All right, now it's time for a bunch of text that more or less makes me seem like a terrible person! All of his seems like a lot of information (and it is!) but I assure you, it's all important in one way or another. I just want to hash out the general way to approach me and chat to me and not leave anything in doubt, because a shocking amount of people don't even read profiles on here and that just sucks! I just want to make it be known my general expectations and writing philosophies, rather than declining perfectly nice people whom I have no qualms with aside from writing standard differences. I [i]have[/i] to set some sort of quality standards and I would really appreciate it if you took in mind my side of this and my general qualifications as it comes to chatting and roleplaying with me. [b]I am not obligated to roleplay with you if you don't meet my standards[/b]. I will know fairly early on if we're compatible or not based on how you approach me and what your profile has on it. It's nothing personal but if I don't want to write with you it's because you either haven't read my profile or don't have a profile suitable to what I expect from people on here.

[b]While I am here to roleplay, I have no issues with meeting new friends and simply chatting to you as well[/b]. Keep in mind that I would, obviously, prefer to write with you, but I also don't mind us talking if we get along and have good chemistry! Ideally, we'd become friends [i]and[/i] roleplay partners, that's sort of the goal here a lot of the time isn't it?

I'm open to a lot of different stories as long as it's [i][b]quality writing[/b][/i] and isn't completely unrealistic or untrue to the characters I am writing. I am here to find long-term roleplaying partners for the most part (not necessarily "long-term stories"), and if we really click and become friendly to one another, we can add each other on some messengers. Just ask!

As for "quality" of writing, I just ask that you play true to your character and detail enough that it's worth writing a story with you. I'm pretty open to a lot of different characters or ideas, but please know how to write them and understand that we shouldn't have to force or rush anything! If there's any minor issues then I believe in basic compromise between each other! If there's any stark differences then we might not be ideal partners, but if we need to make some small adjustments for each other I am open to that (or playing another character in my list), because I think we can come up with something really cool if we work it out! I'll respect you so just respect me back!

[b]Yes, I write erotica, and it's nothing to be ashamed about[/b]. I try to make it worthwhile and write stories you can look back and be [i]proud of[/i], not embarrassed about taking part of because you felt tingly down there. The story and execution [i]does[/i] matter, even if the endgame is chaotic fucking.

[b]I'm not a big person on length, just make it good[/b]: don't force length just for the sake of it. Be succinct when necessary! I type pretty fast so typing (and thinking) fast is certainly important.

[b][i]Why do I do short-term (namely one-shot) stories?[/i][/b] Well, simply put, F-List isn't the most reliable site to find roleplay partners with. People mislead you, block you, poof, and worst of all, disappear entirely, seemingly without a trace! Yes, reality sets in and takes priority over a chatroom, but let's be real here — expecting a true, long-term writing partner from F-List is like expecting you'll be a star out in Los Angeles — possible, but not likely. So, I generally just prefer to work with lower-key plots and a lack of ambition to push a story forward past the general meet-and-fuck, given how this site is with its community roleplay practices. Regardless, I think it's hard enough to have a long-term story that continues to have momentum and a proper pace that can lend itself to something that lasts more than a few days. You can always try to prove me wrong, but in general I deal with shorter-term stories because of how this site's community is and the general lack of plots that could even make writing a weeks-worth plot seem undeniably attractive — [b]one-shot isn't a dirty word[/b]!

[b]Important: Have a profile[/b]. I won't say I'll [i]never[/i] write with a more simple, "flexible", or "hub" profile, but I feel as if having those make you less committed to a character and less likely to work with me. Have a character, know them, and let them interact with mine. I'm okay with you making modifications if you want, but in general I want your profile to be your character and have enough there for me to work with. It's the effort that counts to me, I'm not asking for you to have the most detailed profile ever, but a clear comprehension of your character with reference images and a little kink list would go a long way to establish yourself.

[b]First impressions matter[/b]. If the first impression of you I have is a post that is asking me information I have already answered in my profile and is wrought with sentiments expressed as "Nos" here, I will likely not be very enamored with you for not paying attention. Let me clarify here, [b]I'm not a bitch. I just get a lot of messages from people who don't seem to look at or pay attention to my profiles and this has to stop. Please be different, I would love that. There are thousands upon thousands of people here. Be yourself, but pay attention if you're interested in me and be different![/b]

[b]Please stand out[/b] and [b]don't message me with a simple "Hi" greeting[/b]; I do appreciate the greeting, but I need something more to go on if you want to work out a roleplay with me.

Generally, as a rule, [b]I do not block people[/b]. I don't like the thought behind it, but if you are continually aggressive to me when I have expressed no interest, I might have to. Overall, if I don't respond to you after a good length of time, it's just because I don't think you read my profile or have any real similarities with me, but please prove me wrong on this!

In terms of my writing enjoyment, I prefer first-person perspective writing for these characters as I really like to get into their heads and have appropriate thoughts and feelings about what they are experiencing — I have a profile for these characters and flesh it out, [i]I[/i] want to [i]be[/i] them, not just write a cause and effect. But, I can and will write as second and third-person perspectives, but it depends on the mood I'm in or the character I am playing. I am just more natural and the story will feel more intense if "we" are the characters our profiles depict: just trust me on this, it'll be for the betterment of the story the majority of the time. It's more interactive and I feel more engrossed in the plot if [i]"I"[/i] involve myself by being [i]"them"[/i].

[b]I have tendencies to write in the immediate, present tense[/b]. I consider what we write as happening in the moment and my characters often cannot reflect beyond what is happening to them as we write our story together. Admittedly, my style of writing is often being able to be labeled as "purpose prose". However, I don't think that's a bad thing, nor should you — I have a certain style to my writing and I think that's an important nuance, not a blight on the craft. Write your own style!

The [b]psychology of the story is imperative[/b] to me. Not that the story needs a lot of depth inherently, but we should play it out how it would if it occurred in real life with appropriate reactions and responses. I'm okay with exaggerating certain ideas or kinks for the sexual fulfillment of the story, but realism is a factor to the stories I write and how I portray them. The mental side of whatever we're writing and the goings-on between our characters makes everything all the better.

[b]Kinks are fun, but not all of them are necessary[/b]. I more or less just wanted to list out specific stuff that I, the writer, happens to enjoy. None of the specifics are required or anything like that, but they'd be nice if we work some of them in somehow!

[b]Realistic scenarios and settings only[/b]! I'm not interested in adding monsters, aliens, or other things that wouldn't make sense in a real world unless it's a very compelling reason you have.

I love strong build up to the sexual relations and a lot of intense sexual tension. I like a lot of background and story before the sex, or at the very least give a lot of reason and thought behind what sexual relations are to come. But don't get me wrong, I write sexually-dominated stories, I just want some effort put into them.

I'm open to a lot of different fetishes and kinks, and just because it's not on my list it doesn't mean I won't do it, but you'll need to explain what it is you want and how it could fit into the characters I would play. Again, realism is what I value, so no 25 inch cock anime monster men. And, if it's on my "No" list — it means I won't do them as I find those particular things not so great. Sorry, just not what I am here for!

You might have noticed that I have a ton (way too many) of other characters as listed on the left side of the page, and if you did I thank you for paying basic attention! It's true, I have a lot of profiles! It mostly comes with the territory of having too much free time, but mostly as a result of overactive imagination and a lust for creativity. Making characters and casting them as particular people is something I find fun and enjoy a lot.

But, unfortunately, it seems as if lots of people are intimidated by my profiles! I'd like to point out that being examples of intimidation [i]isn't[/i] why I created them. I created them to roleplay with someone who matches my particular style or general interests! (Maybe you!)

I do want to clarify, however, if I talk to you under a specific name then it generally means I would prefer to use [i]that[/i] character in question if we were to write together. I'm not against signing into another profile if we [i][b]can[/b][/i] work out a better story with a different character of mine, but please don't go shopping for characters you may prefer. But, if you have another character or something then by all means we could plan out a different story with different characters!
