Shyonia, or "Shy", as she is known amongst her clan, is the foremost Ranger of the Daethrya, tasked with patrolling the wilds around the ancestral wood elven home. The Elf has been raised from birth in the Order of the Rangers, trained from the day she could walk and hold a bow to be a protector of all that is good, natural, and Elven in the world, a task the Wood Elves believe has been passed down to them from the Goddess of the Wilds, Serigala. She never knew her father - Out of wedlock births with anonymous fathers were not uncommon in Wood Elven society, given their penchant for casual sexual relations - but her mother visited her almost every day during her training. Over time, her masters and the other Ranger students recognized that Shyonia was quite skilled as a Ranger, shooting straighter, running faster, and fighting better than any of the other elves in the Order, even managing to best some of the masters. When the time came for her to graduate as a Ranger, there was one last test ahead of her: Go into the wilds, and tame an animal to take as a companion. Shy did so, arriving back hours before any of the other students, and with a white wolf in tow - The rarest of wolves, and a herald of the Goddess Serigala. She told her masters that the wolf was named "Lundaga", and that he had found her, rather than the other way around. While the Ranger masters could not say what this meant, they could only feel that it was a good omen. From that day onward, as a fully fledged Ranger and her companion, Shyonia and Lundaga patrolled the wilds around the home of the Daethyra, purging any evil that intruded upon the woods.

[b]-Personality-[/b]

Shy is, first and foremost, an Elven Ranger. For her, the divinely ordained duty of protecting her homeland comes first and foremost. However, as long as she knows that the Daethyra are safe, Shy is typically willing to engage in the more usual Elven past-times and pleasures: Music, fine food and drink, and, of course, casual sexual liaisons with the members of her clan. Her and Lundaga are almost inseparable, although the wolf knows well enough to stay outside when Shy is being intimate with the other elves.

Shyonia has the typical "Elven" personality - Stoic, distant, and somewhat disconnected from the physical world. After all, when you live for literally hundreds of years, sometimes well past your first 1,000, most things just aren't worth troubling over.
