[collapse=Mass Effect Universe Profile] [color=green][b]Biography:[/b][/color] [b]Poisonous tides[/b] Born on 2174 on the Bacalou ship of Slag Huis as a daughter of a slave on board. The organisation took her away from her mother and trained, educated and thought her to become a loyal asset to the Bacalou. As a child she received proper education in many differing subject, yet it was clear that what she had true potential in; she excelled in chemistry and biology, having a natural sense for chemical understanding coupled with hearty curiosity for anatomy of many diverse beings in the galaxy. However her tutation didn't end just with expanding her knowledge on technical and real expertise, they trained her linguistic skill as well, getting her a well-versed and wide range of vocabulary with even practises on intonations and emphasises for added capabilities to serve Bacalou in even more ways. As she was growing up her handlers created her markings as well, richly and widely decorated ones containing soft curves that ruled the inner part while they ended in sharp edges at the outer area on her face, appealing and exotic marking easily able to draw the eyes of any man of her own species and even from the other ones too; using dark green colours for a calming effects against her dark hide and carapace. After the end her educating era, she was begging another education in physical arts and the arts of killing. She had the dedication and showed great willingness to serve the Bacalou, but she didn't have the skills for it as it quickly turned out. She was terrible even at a moderate range while handling a weapon, the only range where she showed potential was close range. Although on that, she showed quite the talent, able to handle and finish even the toughest of curses at said range. After realisation of her potent close quarters skill she was quickly given training excrescences in hand-to-hand and bladed combat to compliment her abilities even further. As she was growing into her late teens and after the intensive trainings she extended her markings even further with the same decorative choices that were present on her face, given by her tutors. She covered the whole of upper body and arms with her extension, giving her an even more exotic look. However all this time didn't come without its own toll. Being on the Slag Huis in her early life, she was exposed to the negative influence of the ships operation, twisting her view and morality in the very same negative way. Furthermore her tutoring and training left her with almost no time to live out her childhood or for that matter herself, forcing the young turian to grow up fast, leaving her with a bit of a childish personality when non Bacalou members or lower ranking personnel are around her, yet she retrains her serious and professional manner in front of her superiors in the ranks of her organisation. [b]Pick your Poison[/b] As she was considered ready to serve the needs of the Bacalou, Serreica was positioned as an Infiltrator Agent within its ranks, using her looks and persuasion skills to acquire information and to kill if necessary. Although still young and inexperienced in many ways, she was eager to serve the organisation without as much as a second thought. Her first assignment was considered an easy one, simple information gathering from a turian sponsor. Her appearance alone deemed perfect to get close to him without even trying. Or so they thought as after some conversations Serreica found herself in his quarters, unable to control her urges. This was the first times he encountered this unstoppable feeling inside her, and she loved it. After the acts she gathered sufficient information from the delirious and exhausted turian, but an unlucky slip made her suspicious for the man. He acted upon his instincts, quickly drawing a pistol from his nightstand and smacked the right side of her face with it to make a small distance between the two of them. Serreica's right mandible's end got chipped away from the impact, however pain wasn't the only thing that ran through her system, there was a certain pang of enjoyment in her, likewise the first time she felt such sensation under this kind of conditions. Through this whole assignment she was getting not only the ropes of her branch of work, but she was finally finding her true self without the bounds of training, rules and surroundings of people who she needed to respect. She felt a bit wrong for every feeling that was running through her at the moment, but she embraced them instead of shutting them down, accepting everything that seemed different from before and claiming it. As she let the adrenaline and the sudden ecstasy run through her as she was kneeling on the floor besides her peeled down clothes, she grasped the concealed knife that was in the pile and tackled the man, making him lose the grip on his weapon. Then retaliation came; choking, clawing and stabbing the man and she loved it, the surge of adrenaline, the heat of the fight, the feeling of imminent and slow death of his victim. Every second of it was another pound of ecstasy for her and Serreica wasn't shy to embrace it. However she needed to make a quick leave after that as her acts weren't particularly subtle; her only luck was that the turian man turned off the security in his room before. Of course after Serreica's return to her handlers she was scolded harshly for her actions and unprofessional behaviour, yet they couldn't argue with her results. However she still wanted to have other options to do her line of work and not just seducing her way through everything. And her handlers were more than happy to oblige her wish so she was listed for training in the arts of stealth as well, the other trademark of the Infiltration branch. As a year of more training ran by and she was finally content with her own skills and emotional states that she discovered. Serreica was ready to serve Bacalou once more. [b]A Poison for Souls.[/b] Passing years and accomplished missions showed her as a valuable asset for Bacalou. In these past couple of years she discovered her true personality and embraced every single part of it either if it was right or wrong. Many tried to ‘help’ her with some of her more extreme conditions and her emotional instability, but she refused the helping hands as she wanted to operate in her own ways. Although living with such conditions in the passing years she still perfected her seductress like role and became quite adept in the stealth arts as well, able to walk through high security at clear sight with only her silver-tongue and capable to blend to the shadows and stalk her targets with proficiency. Mission after mission she could control her urges more and more towards the outside galaxy, however this control is only able to hold her when she is on the mission, contact with others outside the Bacalou is still tainted by her twisted motives and urges. In these years she also created a bit of a trademark of her own person, that being the extensive use of poison and toxic elements; always loading her weapons with Polonium Rounds, her explosives rigged for Fusion Explosions, nightshade blades and likewise coated sword equipped on her person when on a mission. She sickeningly enjoys the sight of her foes struggling. This particular interests and methods of her helped Serreica integrate even deeper and more flawlessly in the society of Bacalou. She was actively helping the Bacalou in the Reaper War although she couldn’t get a field operation as her skills limited her usefulness in such a war. The war had little to no effect on her. After the war her usefulness raised again as Infiltration and Information gathering work was always welcome in the times of rebuilding. In this time she also got her hands on the drug named “Love Me” pills, which even further enhances her already high urges, however after she unwinds it makes her focused at an alarming rate, keeping her head perfectly clear. She easily acquires them as of the connection between Sphinx and Bacalou. [b]Poison quells poison.[/b] Serving her organisation for all her life, the truth expelled about how she actually got to become a part of this whole plan. Finding out shreds of her actual family and the truth about her parents abduction, while she was being integrated into the organisation. Finding out these fidgets of truth, she started to acquire assets form previous connections and contracts to gain her freedom from the Skulls. Months of planning and reconnaissance work against her former superiors and "family" the onyx turian gained enough information to become a valuable informant to the Hierarchy. Initiating her plan and faking her death, she left for Palaven and using the informations she gathered becoming enough of an asset to not be executed for her works. The next months went on for her in helping to demolish and weaken the Bacalou Skulls, chipping away on their armour and fortifications day after day until their presence in the galaxy became close to nothing. Her freedom granted and life given back, she started to live her life using other skills which were acquired, but never truly utilised. Her extensive knowledge in Biology and Fauna mainly in poisons and other chemical agents became a grand asset as a scientist for independent company OBTRD. [/collapse] [collapse=Warhammer 40K Profile] [color=green][b]Biography:[/b][/color] Born onto her species' homeworld, Palaven located near the edges of the western sector of the galaxy, Serreica's life was very much like an model life of her races. Hierarchy education received at the younger ages as a child, just like all the others of her kin. However she showed a great deal of interest and rather excellence towards the more lively and natural arts of science in the forms of biology and the more physical side in the form of chemistry. Coming of the age fifteen, she entered her mandatory service for the Hierarchy, spending a decade of her life in the weapons and tactical trainings, honing her skills of combat with the passing years. However, she didn't show as much of a knack or a real click for these arts of war, as she showed for the finer ones before. Always just a bit falling short of the norm at a steady pace while she served in the military. Nonetheless, she learned the fundamental structures and chain of command just the same, showing a well disciplined side of her which was always ready to take into account the criticisms befalling onto her, while trying to improve upon them. This didn't matter in the long run seemingly, as before the end of her military service she was transferred to a post where her true skills and natural talents could shine through fully. With a new purpose, Serreica's work was now focused on researchs about the flora and fauna of near proximity planets to her species' homewrold and the few colonies established within the system. Using what she gathered to produce various substances and reactions to aid her people. These creations ranged from a wide variety, starting from simple poisons to rather complex medications, some capable to be repurposed for other beings as well. At times however, her skills were used for a rather much more wretched workings. Her knowledge of anatomy and sharp wit combined with some of her nastier discoveries and concoctions leading her to be a primary candidate for interrogation and torture against the enemies of the Hierarchy. Slipping into a sort of agent for the states position as well. Serreica finished her mandatory service in this peculiar post and continued on working as such for the time being, not wishing to give the burden of her place to anyone. Then the Imperium arrived. Early colonies on the fringe of the system and established ones fell quickly as the attack of humanity wiped any and all resistances her people would put up. Within weeks, the human race was tearing apart her homeworld. A civilization, millennias of creation and history. Gone, falling for no apparent reason, within the span of a single month. Nobody spared, nothing stood and there was no remorse or mercy in their advance. A last ditch effort, the last hope they saw for themselves, taking whatever ships remained planet side, filling them up with their people and sending them scattered around far and wide in the belief for escape. Just the hope to keep something of them alive. Serreica, was one of these passengers as an agent for the Hierarchy. She stood her ground until they ordered the final retreat into the empty void. The hope of just the survival of a few members of their species in mind. Large bulk of the escaping ships were shot down within the system, whatever survived were blown up shortly after leaving it. That only left a handful of them stranded in the new unknown, suspended in space seemingly and travelling into utter unfamiliarity, drifting across the emptiness of space. Low food supplies, quickly waning fuel and air following in tandem with it. A hellish month of borderline malnourishment and shallow breaths passed by before the ship Serreica was on board on was found. Initial excitement and happiness was quickly overcome by more grief however as the weakened soldiers of the ship were cut down, trying to resist the nature of the newly contacted aliens. Dark Eldar they called themselves, feasting upon the sorrow and fleeting hopes of the weak crew, killing the weak for sport, while only taking the purple-hued turian and a couple of others, still fit just enough for 'gifts'. It wasn't too long from there before Serry remained completely alone. One turian taking her own life rather than to serve, the other dying while denying the servitude. Serreica remained. Acting her part out, trying to keep the hope she set out with from her homeworld alive. She pleased, served her "masters", time convolving, becoming rough to follow as it slipped by her seemingly. Until one day she was sent away, bored and unamused by her "master", into the wild unknown again, realising something she didn't at the time, and the ominous aftershock of his words hitting her after she tried to seek some form of shelter. She was sent away in the belief that she would return, as even though misery was her life, there was nothing else for her left. Nowhere else to go. The painful realisation of not belonging into a world and eventually giving herself up to the monstrosity of their ways, rather than be nothing, mean nothing. Lost everything. The lone survivor of a now extinct species. A flickering ember, in a now extinguished torch. [color=green][b]Personality:[/b][/color] Even after the events of her life's shattering, Serreica still remains hopeful and lively. Either through sheer discipline or to spite those whom expected her to break down. Containing her now inherit hatred against the destroyers of her people towards the ones acting it out themselves, not at the species as a whole. Although she sees them less and less in stature with every day passing her by. Serry hides her slowly crumbling mind in unhealthy amounts of constant researches and innovations within the branches of toxins and medical aid. With all these in tandem, she continuously seeks a status, a post, a place, anything rather where she may feel that she belongs to something. [/collapse] [collapse=Explanations and Extras] *Combat Toxician: Throughout decades of research and tinkering with formulas, reactions and compositions of structures, the Combat Toxician is granted a great understanding into the fine mechanics of toxins, poison and venom, capable to imbue or enhance their weapon or an allies weapon with these properties while in combat. Combat Toxician is further granted a chance to resist their own poison, or poison they have discovered. Special Ability: Venomous Attacks As a Full Action, the Combat Toxician can apply poisons to her weapons via either a Challenging(+0) Tech-Use Test, granting them the Toxic Quality, with a value of 0 + 1 for every 2 Degrees of Success on the Tech-Use Test. This effect lasts for the rest of the Encounter and cannot be applied to weapons that use the Energy damage type or have the Blast Quality. While this effect is in place on a weapon, the Combat Toxician may spend a Fate Point to add Toxic(+2) to the Weapon and cause any who fail the Toughness Test to resist the Toxic Quality to suffer 2d10 temporary Toughness and Agility Damage and must make a -10 Toughness Test (after applying the Toughness Damage) or become Stunned for one Round.
