Crime, poverty and hopelessness plague its streets like a miasmatic cloud. The few law-abiding inhabitants find themselves drowned in a sea of pimps, gangsters, drug dealers, thieves, rapists and corrupt officials. The homeless crowd the alleys, sleeping in dumpsters or in shantytowns that sprout from beneath bridges and overpasses like weeds. Chief among those in despair are the females. Constant victims of violence and exploitation, they find themselves at the bottom of the City's food chain with seemingly no legal protections to keep them safe. The assurances of civil liberties and equality have fallen to the wayside, kicked to the curb and abandoned for the sake of masculine dominance. Roaming packs of rape gangs stalk the slums on a nightly basis, perpetually searching for new victims to defile and leave dead on the sidewalks. With little chance of escaping their hellish lives, most girls turn to prostitution and drugs, selling themselves to strangers for pocket change and getting high any way they can.

Once known as Lower Bayside, the Rat District is the filthy, unwashed asshole of the City. Bloated bodies are routinely plucked from its polluted waters or fed upon by an army of diseased rodents. Here a group of young women have banded together, eking out a loathsome existence in an abandoned old warehouse. A perverted rabble of drug addicted hookers who film their own low-budget horror show amateur porn. Though the group goes by many names; the Suicide Sluts, Dead Soul Society, the Corpse Brigade, they've managed to cultivate a small following on the internet thanks to their obscenely hardcore movies and barbaric lifestyle of sex, drugs and violence.

But that was back then… now it stands as a rusted, worn-out monument from a forgotten era. Years of neglect and disrepair have left the old factory a hollow shell of what it once was. Condemned, dilapidated and all but falling apart, it serves as home and studio to the girls who call themselves the Suicide Sluts. Over run by rodents and vermin, covered in mold and graffiti, the multi-story shitbox's tarnished façade and interior are the perfect reflections of those living within its dingy confines. Smashed windows, crumbling walls and hole ridden ceilings, even many of the homeless know to seek better shelter elsewhere, but for the girls, it's all they have.[/i][/collapse]
