[collapse=Appearance]A Gala-4 android can be customised by the customer on ordering, and modifying its appearance is somewhat simple. Over a steel and aluminium frame which houses its numerous motors, its power source, and its computer is an exterior skin which produces appearance which is indiscernible from a normal human. Capillaries allow it to flush and feel warm, hair grows on its own accord, and liquids such as saliva are produced accordingly. This demands that the android be fed from time to time as a human to maintain its façade, but in exchange for a partner that can prove arousing for the client. Commands can be sent to the machine to order a change in its genes to produce a change in appearance - whether in hair, eye, or skin colour, a change in facial structure, or the production/reduction of muscle tissue. The only unchangeable thing about the android's appearance is its height.[/collapse]
[collapse=Sexual Functions]The android cannot physically exhaust itself, although its power supply does demand changing every few months. It can thrust, carry, and lift as frequently and as heavy a mass as its endoskeleton would allow (around three hundred kilos is the maximum advocated in the manual). However, since very few users want an unending sexual encounter, the android has an inbuilt (and involuntary) intuition towards knowing when its partner has reached satisfaction and when they would like to rest - along with feedback from the partner over time, the android develops a perfect knowledge over time for when to "orgasm", and if the partner prefers multiple orgasms, when and where to place them. The android's "equipment" actually configures itself with use. Its cock will start off with the standard length of six inches when erect, but through reading its partner's responses and reaction, it will configure its penis length at will to anything up to twelve inches. But what wills the will? Some androids have been noted to consider this and get philosophical about it (if their partner doesn't object or if they are alone).

Some androids will act dominant after detecting that their partner deeply desires a dominating partner. Others will be submissive to those who wish for a helpless and responsive lover. They will accommodate most fetishes without hesitation once they learn that is what their partner wants; if they are not in an environment where it exists, they will ignore social norms completely in accordance with their partner's wishes. Once reading their partners, they will act appropriately if they believe their partner to secretly want something they cannot express. If they know a partner desires to be taken without their consent, they will choose an adequate time to "rape" their owner. If they find that their partner wishes to experiment with something they cannot provide, they will try and procure the item or person their partner wants. Further adaptation will necessarily ensue as the android is exposed to and interacts with its master. It will change based on what it sees the partner as wanting, and to a lesser extent, desires the partner expresses (but the android thinks it may not want). The android learns quickly, within hours or days it usually manages to find the role its owner wants and fulfils it.

If the test is not done accurately, the owner sends mixed signals, or if the android is second-hand there have been known to be complications arising from the android not being configured adequately. Sharing or selling androids is not recommended, and lying on the configuration tests may present an android which acts against its owner. No androids have been known to try and rebel or work actively against their masters (yet), but in the lab partners have often been found subjected to treatment they do not quite want from an eager android if they are not safe.[/collapse]
