In reality, I [u]do not[/u] share many things at all with Richard. He is primarily based on a combination of several hikikomori/NEET anime & VN characters, and stories told by people on 4chan/8chan. Happy to say I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of Richard's situation. That said, the concept behind Richard's life is definitely a fantasy of mine. My work-life balance is pretty shit right now. My ideal life would be financial independence away from a 5-day-a-week job and severely more free time to do what I wish. However, my free time does not consist solely of the activities his does.
