Yes, in a world of mundanity and normal people, there needs to be someone to stand out from the masses, someone to be a shining example for the rest. But even shining examples need a bit of fun from time to time. Or, you know, all the time.

[collapse=Once an ordinary boy who dreamed of greatness, something happened to Reeve Stewarts to make him the impossible! In fact, his story begins when he...]
[b][color=yellow]- Was Struck By Lightning While Working Late In The Lab!
[/color][/b][i]Yes, teen genius Reeve Stevens was working in the lab late one night when a [color=yellow]Bolt of Lightning[/color] blew through the roof, striking the [color=yellow]Volatile Chemicals[/color] he was working with! The resultant detonation wreaked a cataclysmic change in Reeve's genetic makeup, not to mention knocking him out like a light! When he awoke, he decided that the explosion must have been a figment of his imagination but was proved wrong when, some days later, he found that he could now run at [color=yellow]Speeds[/color] approaching that of [color=yellow]Sound itself[/color]![/i]

[color=yellow]Appearance[/color]: Eighteen years old, average height and build, Reeve doesn't look like a runner anymore than the next guy. His hair is brown and often blown back from his face by high velocities while his eyes are blue and sparkling. When in civilian clothes, he prefers to wear clothes than are baggy enough to let him run (no skinny jeans), and T-shirts bearing science jokes or obscure references. When in his [url=http://i.imgur.com/LnwTa0S.png]superhero gear[/url], he cuts a rather more striking figure, even in his home made suit.

[color=yellow]Personality[/color]: Speed Reeves is impatient in an enthusiastic way, energetic in an infuriating way and fast in a fast way. He wants things to happen NOW, dammit, because he's tired of waiting for everyone to catch up. More than a little naive about how the world is, he thinks as fast as he moves (whether he jumps to correct conclusions or simply from supposition to supposition isn't always clear) and generally assumes the best of people.

[color=yellow]Story[/color]: Still working at the lab, Reeves wants nothing more than to help people in any way he can. By day, he helps by using his genius to give back to the world. By night (or whenever danger rears its head) he helps people by using his powers to fight for justice! He's strictly street level at the moment though, thwarting thugs, beating bullies and mashing the occasional monster. He doesn't really know any other heroes but would be happy to meet some.

Influences obviously mostly being Bart Allen from Flash V2 and Wally West from Young Justice but also a less gloomy version of [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1YGgLV3ZgM]The Ballad of Barry Allen[/url]

[color=orange][b]- Suffered A Potentially Fatal Head Injury Gave Him The Power To Control Minds!
[/b][/color][i]While driving innocently to go to a fascinating exhibit at the local science museum, Reeves was caught in a pile up of no less than two dozen cars! When he was eventually rushed to hospital, the doctors proclaimed he was unlikely to ever regain full use of his [color=orange]Brain[/color]! They were, you guessed it, proved wrong when he not only made a full recovery but manifested the ability to [color=orange]Read and even influence the mind's or others[/color]![/i]

[color=orange]Appearance[/color]: Tall, thin and pale, Reeve looks a little unhealthy upon first glance, his dark brown hair having a slightly lifeless quality. Closer inspection reveals that while he could probably do with more time under the sun and less time inside in front of a monitor, there's a wiry strength in his slim frame. As far as clothes go, his tastes vary from week to week and using his powers, he can attain whatever clothes catch his eye or fancy. Not being one to put himself in the limelight, he has no superhero suit. To look at him, you'd probably put his age somewhere between eighteen and twenty six.

[color=orange]Personality[/color]: Reeves hears and knows everything the people around him think; the heartache, the dark secrets, the barely contained rage, the barely hidden disgust. And everything that he hears grates on him, eroding everything from his will to keep helping them to his faith in the basic decency of man. He can be apathetic and cynical, especially while in a public place, but his heart is in the right place. The only time he's outright villainous is when disposing of defeated enemies. Not for Reeves is the recurring supervillain, no, he prefers to make sure they're dealt with in a more... [url=http://i.imgur.com/fpmCePg.jpg]permanent[/url] way.

[color=orange]Story[/color]: Paranoia came easily to Reeves, partly because he could hear the thoughts of those near him but partly because he knew the potential applications of his power set. If people with fewer scruples than himself could work out how it was that he had been granted his power, the privacy of the average person's mind would no longer be safe. So he lives nomadically, moving from place to place and erasing his existence from the minds of the normal people that he meets.

[b][color=purple]- Found A Mysterious Item That Granted Him Mystic Powers!
[/color][/b][i]While trawling through a dingy [color=purple]Antiques Store[/color], Reeve Stuarts found a [color=pruple]Glittering Amulet[/color] that [color=purple]Bewitched[/color] him! After purchasing it from the old woman who ran the shop he took it home, only to find it had granted him [color=purple]Strange and Unearthly powers[/color] beyond the ken of mortals! But when he returned to the shop to try and discover its origin, there was nothing but a blank wall and an enigmatic note wishing him good luck and giving him some rudimentary instructions![/i]

[color=purple]Appearance[/color]: Heavy set and of average height, Reeves has the look of someone who often pushes themselves to the limit, be it physically or mentally. The impression of someone with rigid self discipline is reinforced by his steely gaze, cut-short brown hair and perpetually straight spine. Being something of a social pariah, Reeves rarely has people to judge his clothing but he has surprising taste for someone who professes not to care about such things. He tends to wear tight fitting jeans and black jumpers or hoodies, matched with well polished boots. When fighting the forces of mystical evil (or regular evil, if the opportunity presents itself) he summons a [url=http://i.imgur.com/yAR5Ute.png]protective robe[/url] to keep him safe and to conceal his identity. Being twenty three years old, he's seen something of the world but is by no means experienced.

[color=purple]Personality[/color]: Magic Reeve is driven and focussed, preferring to stay in studying ancient and arcane tomes (often found on ebay) rather than go out on the town. He is intrigued by the strange new power he's been given but is a cautious individual and doesn't want to risk using it in public. Likewise, he's cautious with people, wanting to think the best of them and to enjoy things with them to the fullest but some part of him is always watching them suspiciously. As a result, he tends to come off as a little shy and rather surly. Since the acquisition of his shiny new amulet, his confidence is growing in confidence but someone to encourage him or push him further would make all the difference.

[color=purple]Story[/color]: In between working, studying and mystical monster battling, Reeves doesn't have much of a life. As a side effect from working so hard on his various interests, he knows very few people his own age that aren't students of the arcane arts. While he wouldn't be adverse to making friends, he's unlikely to take time out of his other activities to do it, so he'll need to meet friends at a magic book auction, work, school or while fighting crime.

Inspirations for this one mostly come from the stereotypical magical character in teams, like Zatanna in the JLA, Dr. Fate in the JSA or Raven in the TT.

[/color][/b][i]Once a boy with twigs for arms and sticks for legs, Reeves volunteered as a lab specimen for a revolutionary new process that transformed him into a [color=red]Musclebound Super Human[/color]! [color=red]Faster[/color] than any olympian, [color=red]Stronger[/color] than any giant and more [color=red]Handsome[/color] than any model, Reeves is now everything you could ask for in a man![/i]

[color=red]Appearance[/color]: At almost two metres tall and as broad as any weight lifter, Reeves has a handsome, boyish face framed by short, straight blonde hair. He tends to wear extremely nondescript clothes, often in grey or black, still not entirely free of the mindset of someone who is hunted. While his incredible fitness and physical power makes him look older than his years, he's no more than twenty.

[color=red]Personality[/color]: Super Soldier Reeves is still as shy and self conscious as he was when he didn't have muscles, preferring for others to make the first move and take control. He still instinctively avoids any form of conflict by either trying to leave or to deflect whatever aggression or conflict is coming at him. Nerdy, introverted but strong enough to punch through walls.

[color=red]Story[/color]: After the experiment gave him physical attributes beyond the reach of normal men, Reeves spent some time as a corporate lackey. He attended company functions, was put through his paces for tests and generally did whatever was asked of him. It wore on him that his life seemed to now be nothing but waiting for the next command but he didn't rebel and escape until he was asked to eliminate a corporate rival. For a while he was hunted by the security forces of the company, mercenaries and bounty hunters but he has since gained enough local fame that his creators feel that they'd be under too much scrutiny if they tried to bring him in now.

Inspiration for this one is pretty obvious but while I mostly don't enjoy playing a submissive character, I really like the idea of a submissive Super Human.[/collapse]

[collapse=What I'm looking For]Basically, Super Heroes and sex has always been a favourite fantasy of mine. Whether they are canon characters, OCDONUTSTEEL characters or some crazy mix is not really all that important (as long as I won't cut myself on their edge and they fit in with the universe in question) but the classic parts of the superhero need to stay in. I've listed above a few of the powers and character archetypes I'd like to play but I'm also happy to play as canon characters (as long as I know them reasonably well) and to fit into different universe. So, here are a few ideas for plots off the top of my head

[b]A cult around the city are preparing a magical ceremony to summon their demonic liege.[/b]
The ceremony is ridiculously elaborate so it will take them weeks to gather the components, prepare the hallowed grounds and kidnap the requisite sacrifice. More than enough time for some pesky supers to jump in and stop them. Or not, leading to a climactic (hurr hurr) boss battle. Maybe your character is a villain who wants to help summon the demon, could be great for a corruption or redemption arc.

[b]The local villains have decided to stop pulling small time gigs and club together to do some real damage.[/b]
A rogues gallery is bad enough but a group who work together with the sole purpose of making a hero's life miserable? That's the full nine yards. There's loads of ways this can go, from the heroes doing their best to break up the meeting of the rogues to the heroes deciding they need to infiltrate the group. Good for shenanigans or a very skewed battle if you're a villain.
