Born on the outskirts of London, England, Raine was born one of the first wave of hermaphrodites made public not just for their sexual convergence, but the extravagance in their expression. As a teen, in many ways she exemplified all the worst stereotypes of the hypersexual deviants moral antagonists claim them all to be. While not the first of them, Raine was born into the period of discovery of the mutation found rarely worldwide that spoke to the rise of this new breed. The 'H' chromosome superficially matches the pattern of an 'XX male' mutation, but the nature of the changes were so profound as to be an entirely different chromosome. Specifically, the nature of the mutation allowed for a previously unseen bifurcation of sexual organs such that Raine and others like her are fully fertile and virile, the bodies adapted for this duality. Some additional changes from either X or Y chromosomes include a few of the common factors identified with H-based futanari:

* Height average closer to that of males, and muscle tone averaging between the two sexes,
* Overdeveloped primary sexual characteristics, and commonly secondary ones as well,
* Hyperactive virility, semen and fluid production potentially several orders of magnitude greater than male norms,
* Increased physical endurance and unusually efficient cardiovascular processes,
* Early onset of puberty, (speculation as to aging effects remains untested).

Raine's case was particularly exceptional, her body seeming the optimal vessel for all the excessive traits associated with the H-gene mutation exploding into view. Besides the most obvious of traits in her bosom and loins, her physique is almost superhuman. Lean muscle with a density and power well outside the norm and a cardiovascular system capable of fueling her erections with the ease of someone a fraction her size make her a near-Olympian athlete in potential. Born the youngest of three children to Reginald and Miriam Winters, she was raised in Knightsbridge with her father's success in finance making it easy for them to keep up with studying her unusual birth condition, her particular intersexuality not resolved surgically due to her parents' intervention. After a few years, it became clear that a mutated chromosome, matching that with the Kaykoura 'H-Gene' (see above for details) that was still being researched. Having been born with all the sexual organs of both sexes, Raine's parents were careful to raise her as female by default, and they appeared to mostly be correct in that decision as while Raine's athleticism and competitive spirit shone through early on, she was tomboyish but generally leaned female in expression on her own terms. Other than a few considerations for her extra equipment when it came to dealing with girl's clothes, her childhood was mostly uncontroversial until she got to her secondary education.

As puberty began to strike for Raine, she had found herself drawn into the world of cricket, playing for a local girl's club associated with the boarding school her parents sent her to. By age 12 she was already near her full height, but the beanpole of a lass wasn't anywhere near done growing. At first, she was accepted as she was in the team and league, and had an impressive record. However, as her masculine endowment filled in first with aplomb along with a surge of other physical developments, her performance grew further adrift from her peers. She was able to run and hit at a level far closer to that of professionals, males even, than anyone in her literal league, and this became increasingly controversial as she was so developed by the start of the upper years of her education that was essentially impossible to hide the extent of her hermaphroditism. The league banned XH persons from the female league, and moral impropriety concerns were raised with allowing her to join the boy's club. Frustrated as her records in the league were essentially negated due to the ruling, she took to martial arts instead. This was also motivated as she was finding herself physically harassed more as she was no longer able to pass as purely female without extensive effort.

Much as with cricket, she was quickly forced to compete in the male league as she got comfortable with her MMA skills, copious degrees of her natural talent quickly making the training into a useful form. At 15, she was undefeated for her first eight official fights. But it's around this time her puberty resurged in a new way. Much as from ages 11 to 13 she went from fairly normally endowed for a boy to her obscenely oversized slab slung between her knees, an 18 month period between her 15th and 17th birthdays had her bosom explode out from her formerly pert and modest pair to the sort that put her on par with a pre-reduction Linsey Dawn McKenzie or a Rachel Aldana, and this while still having an otherwise lean, cut figure. The weight of her bosom was enough to force her up between one and two weight classes as she competed. Even so, she only lost three matches out of the dozens she entered, forced once again to quit as the fully blossomed rack she had drew massive swarms of puerile attention to the league she was in and found herself specifically targeted with rather illegal strikes to her genitals from some of the more brutally jealous combatants she faced. Graduating early, she took off to the US as the attention she received from the ring translated into cinematic desire.

It's not a surprise at all that with her ridiculous proportions, offers stacked up to get her to go into porn - she'd already started posing topless in the UK at 17 to help fund her move, not disowned by her parents but rather close as the increasing embarrassment over her antics distanced them. Her eighteenth birthday was taken up filming the first of several features for the "Horse Hung Herm" label slapped onto her out near Los Angeles. Soon after moving to the US, she'd trimmed her blonde locks as she tried to pick up the MMA reins she once held. She was still forced to compete in the men's league, and found quickly the league was eager to exploit her reputation and looks, not taking her seriously or letting her anywhere near the big names. After a year or so, she dropped from there too, and has struggled to do more than occasional unsanctioned exhibition matches. On one hand, money makes the world go around, and she finds herself taking up some of those fights more clearly about the puerile, carnal interests of the audience than anything real about the fighting, but on the other she hates herself for the damage she feels she's done to acceptance of other herms like herself. To that end, she's been eager to find any way to atone, looking to redefine her image as well as that caricature she helped create.
