[i]Weird yet definitely a feminine form climbs from underneath a large leaf, making an unbroken series of soft tapping sounds. Numerous chubby protrusions move her body forward and undulate in a hypnotic pattern as the wormgirl's waving antennae have clearly spotted someone. She raises her head, revealing a pair of beady eyes to meet theirs and presents a curious expression. Probably the oldest and most primal of all questions is written all over her strangely adorable face: friend or foe?[/i]

It's a velvet worm... but also a girl!

This odd beast sports glands close to her eyes that shoot streams of immobilizing slime, a useful weapon in asserting her matriarchal superiority over other creatures. Multiple pairs of hands and feet (each armed with retractable claws no less!) allow her to climb and attach to most surfaces with relative ease and although she isn't very fast, combined with her large body mass this makes toppling many foes a trivial task. While her eyesight is poor, a pair of long and extremely sensitive antennae are constantly flailing in search of prey... but please do not touch them. Her soft body is almost entirely covered by short and velvety fur, which is honestly a little unfair because of how good she feels to touch. Much smarter than she might appear at first, velvet worms are quick to catch on to their partner's intentions.

Oh, and she's exclusively carnivorous. Better not get any funny ideas!
