Past the eerie aura that she exudes, and the natural eccentricity she fails hard to hide, she is just a normal girl; the kind of person you'd trust, see as harmless. Always one blink away from falling asleep or distracting herself with what is not even there, staring at you with warm, warm eyes, she slowly gains your confidence by maintaining a façade of almost childlike naivety. She's irresponsible and immature like most girls her age, her only life goals involve food, irregular sleep cycles and videogames, and, she says, she just wants to have fun. Life is too short, you never know when you're going to suffer an accident, lose your ability to enjoy life.

It's honest. She's awfully honest, that you know, because Shiori herself makes sure you do. She's not unfriendly or uncaring, her blunt answers are sincere and constructive, and everything that she has said, from her job (none; 'school is too boring, I would rather mess with stuff that's more interesting,' she says.) to the things she likes is true. Horror movies. Cute girls. Fondling cute girls. Fondling cute girls while they watch horror movies-- videogames and eating too, of course. It makes you laugh, or it makes you start to think how much of a weird girl she is.
