Nightlight is a fairly young Umbreon, as far as young Umbreons go. Anyway, this Umbreon has been tasked with a special duty. One that has been passed down to every Umbreon in her family! She serves as a guardian and guide to a great forest, one who's been mostly untouched by the likes of humans. Pokemon are boundless in the forest, all sorts from almost every species and race populating the forest in almost complete peace, aside from the feuds and fights over territory and between different families of Pokemon. Though sometimes she wonders what it would be like if she could just walk away and be free of her responsibility...

But at some point in time, a legion of the most diverse Pokemon in existence arrived as if out of the blue to end the senseless fighting and chaos. They worked flawlessly together and subdued the violent nature of the forest. Since as long as anyone cares to remember, any and all members of the Eevee family have been guardians and leaders to the many species of Pokemon, creating an age of peace...
