[center][b]Meryl 'Gehenna' Wilkes - The Cat-like Cat-eared Cyborg![/b][/center]



Meryl claims to be an explorer, but she's really just running from the debt she keeps incurring. [sub]Cyborgs are expensive![/sub]. As such, she owns a spaceship in questionable condition, dents here and there along with wonky A/C and an engine that makes a funny sound if you don't start it right. But god damnit, the space truck has worked so far, what's a couple more miles gonna do? Besides, it's not like any problem is getting fixed, considering her current source of income is swindling people into buying whatever's in the cargo bay at the moment. [sub]Turns out, not everyone is a collector.[/sub] How she actually finds her way to shiny things that people will buy is a mystery that she explains away as natural cat instincts. The main problem with those instincts is that they're more focused on thrills, which doesn't account in things like safety and such. Ask her about the cyborg parts, every one of them's a lesson she probably should have taken. But it's not like you can stop someone like her.

[collapse=Her implants/augments/whatever!]She's had her fair share of "accidents" when exploring, which have led to having to replace some bits. Some bits being limbs and organs. Her arms and legs are pretty distinguishable from the real thing, metal bits peeking out if she bends them back enough. Plus the whirring sound, which is just quiet enough that you really have to listen for it. For the tinkerers among you (I know you exist), Meryl's bits are easily modified to good or bad means by just carefully taking off the layer of false skin on it. It's a tangle of wires inside, but after you clear it out you have a nice and easy circuit board free to mess about with! It's the same thing for the other limbs, saves costs.

Meryl also has some augmentations, namely ones that make her body work better. Her liver's been augmented to deal with toxic substances better, both of her eyes have been replaced with fancier cybernetic ones that do a host of cool things, a salvaged military augment she got from a shady guy (It's basically an enhanced adrenal gland that can be triggered at will [sub]or remotely[/sub] to dispense a burst of adrenaline and whatever mix of drugs is placed in the external container at the time. The external container is a square metal box, about the size of a deck of playing cards, with a green and red LED on it to indicate if it's full or not. Refilling is done by opening the little hatch at the top and dumping a vial of stuff in it.) and lastly her left hand is equipped with what she calls a locksmith kit, but it's mostly used for breaking and entering. It does fancy things like overload simple keypads, break most locks, start some cars and rarely crack any keypad that was made after people realized that overloading keypads was a thing.[/collapse]

[collapse=Ideas!/ooc shit]If you can't come up with an idea (Don't worry, happens to the best of us.) I've got some right here! For example, Meryl's a fancy cyborg. What's stopping you from finishing the job and turning her into a robot for whatever nefarious needs you have? If you don't want to go all the way, a simple augment in the brain will be enough to put her right under your control. If general robot-y things aren't fun, there's another thing. Meryl's a catgirl, not a fully fledged [sub]anthro[/sub] cat! If you want to finish the job, feel free to!
