Matt was born into a rich family, his father owning a lucrative oil company - Wild Natural Resources - and had things handed to him on a silver plate, but didn't let his status and ego get to him. He unfortunately never knew his mother as she left him early in his life, only ever knowing his father and the staff that worked in their stately house. Growing up he learned of the catastrophic oil spills his father's company were responsible for, and the lack of concern he had for the repercussions they had, which enraged him to fight against the capitalist mold his strict, authoritative father wanted him to fill when he would become too old to run the company. Over the years, Matt has become humble and appreciative of the opportunities he's had due to the wealth and status his family name came with, ensuring that everyone and everything could lead a happy and healthy life even when working under his father at the family company. It wasn't until his father's death that he inherited the company that the true changes happened: Matt became a passionate CEO who cleaned up the company's old image, fighting seedy bills backed by corrupt politicians and involving himself in humanitarian and environmental efforts around the world. He expanded the company by diverting revenue from the oil money into investing in clean energy technology to support impoverished countries, medical science and agriculture. He's had a busy and exhausting career but he enjoys every minute of it, but a young progressive business man needs to unwind too.

In his youth, Matt patrolled forums to talk with bullied kids in order to help them out, to be a friend and support them in just being themselves. However, he didn't know half the things these kids were in to that caused them to be bullied, so he researched all he could; which is when he stumbled across the more sinful corners of the internet and discovered a world of lust he never knew of. Secretly managing to keep the strange kinks he learned under wraps from his father, he grew up aching to fulfill these fantasies of his. That's where you come in...

I never go off the handle like this but it happens way too much to too many of us roleplayers;

If you're not interested in role-playing with me, that's fine, just tell me when I message you that it's a no; I can handle rejection, I can move on. Don't give me that crap that I should take the hint that you didn't message me back, people can miss messages all the time. How would I know that?! Just be straight up and tell me yes or no, it's that simple.

Also, it's great when you get a scene going with someone and start to have some fun with them. However, what isn't so great is to have someone you were having a great time role-playing with and message them to continue on when now you get a notification that they suddenly don't want to hear from you again! Why did they do that? I don't know, you can't ask to find out because they decide to not be respectful and civil and just don't want to hear from you!!!

Look, we all have our own individual set of emotions and ideals that make us all unique and we have the power to communicate so that we can all better understand ourselves. We're all humans - imperfect, delicate creatures - who will all make mistakes in our lives. If we do make mistakes, AND WE WILL, we should all have the opportunity to know why something we did or say was taken as offensive or hurtful and at least try to explain ourselves for those actions. If you decide you want to block me because of something I did or say? Okay, at least have the COMMON COURTESY to let me know what I did wrong and I can try to explain. If you don't want to hear my side, that sucks but okay; you can at least leave me a note like an abandoning parent/spouse and tell me what your reasoning is. No one likes being left in the dark. How does that saying go? "Treat those as you want to be treated." So step up and say it like it is. I will be respectful in doing so, you should too.
