[/collapse] [/collapse] [collapse=Demon Dice] A quick dice game popular among demons, usually small stakes are gambled, commonly sexual favors. Dice sides: 1 – Imp 2 – Hellhound 3 – Succubus 4 – Oni 5 – Devil 6 – Demon Prince You will need: Potentially 24 dice. Starting amount of dice: Starting player: 7 dice Second Player: 8 dice Challenger goes first. Each player can roll five dice at a time. Each player has two rolls each turn. After the first roll the player can bank any of the rolled dice and re-roll the rest among with any dice they have left over. A player scores when they have three dice of the same type. Each additional dice of the same type scores an additional time. A player can score multiple types in the same turn. If a player has eleven or twelve dice they can roll six at a time. Rolls: 1. Imp: Take a dice from your opponent. Return it after both players have taken one more turn. Extra turns do not count. 2. Hellhound: Your next score scores an additional time. This can be another score you made on the same turn. 3. Succubus: Take an extra turn 4. Oni: You gain one dice 5. Devil: Opponent loses one dice 6. Demon Prince: Steal one dice from your opponent Winning the game: If one player has less than three dice at any point they lose. If any player has 13 or more dice at any point they win. Players can of course concede before any of these conditions are met. [/collapse] [collapse=Leila's Mark] The mark of the goddess of depravity. If you see this on a slut you know who she belongs too. Of course sometimes a little less subtlety is needed. [/collapse] Devote yourself! [collapse=RPG rules] These rules are based heavily on Donjon by Clinton R. Nixon [collapse=Rolling]When making a roll the player and the GM each roll what is known as a dice pool. The dice pool consists of an amount of six sided dice, known as d6s. The player's number of dice is determined from their skill in the relevant attribute, and what additional abilities they have that help them in that task. The GM's dice pool is based on the difficulty of the task. The player and the GM each roll their dice pool. Each dice that shows 4 or more is a success. The amount of successes are compared, and the winner gets the difference in successes. Example: John rolled 10 dice, getting (1,1,2,3,3,4,4,5,6,6), and the GM rolled 5 dice, getting (1,3,3,4,5). John gets 5 successes against the GM's 2, this result in John having three successes. The law of successes When someone wins the test they can spend their successes. The law of successes states that: 1 success = 1 die or 1 fact This means that for each success you can either save it up and use it as a bonus die on a related roll, or you can state one fact about what you did. The GM will then narrate using those facts. If the GM wins the roll he will state the facts or use the dice against the player, but the player will then get to narrate until the GM stops them. Example: John tries to lockpick a door, and gets 3 successes. He uses one of the dice to say that the door opens, he spends another to say it leads to a treasure chamber. He doesn't want to state any more facts, so he uses the last die as a bonus die for sneaking inside.[/collapse] [collapse=Attributes]You start with 30 Attribute points at level up, divided as you choose upon character creation. Each attribute must start with a score of 1, and can at most start with 10, though it can increase above 10 as you level up. Virility (Vir): Your strength and physical ability. Use for dealing damage, lifting heavy objects, climping and the like. Adroitness (Adr): Your swiftness of both feet and hands. Use for attacking and dodging, keeping your balance, and similar. Wherewithal (Whe): Your bodily endurance. Used for resisting damage, resisting poison, doing physical activity for long stretches of time. Cerebrality (Cer): Your intelligence. Uses for casting spell, recalling trivia, and solving mysteries. Discernment (Dis): Your abillity to discern your surroundings and think clearly. Used for taking actions in combat, searching for treasure, and seeing through illusions. Sociality (Soc): Your charisma, the ability to make people do as you want. Used to seduce, intimidate, persuade and haggle. Health Your maximum health is equal to your wherewithal score plus your level divided by 5 rounded up. Health is used to survive taking damage.[/collapse] [collapse=Abilities]Abilities are more specific than attributes, conferring bonuses to more specific situations. The more specific the bonus for an ability, the greater the bonus it grants. Abilities are created with the help of the GM, so if you have an idea for an ability, discuss it with the GM. A character starts with 3 abilities in level 1. Example: The general ability Fighter grants +1 on all attack and parry rolls, whereas Weapon Proficiency (Swords) grants +3 on attack and parry rolls only when using swords. [/collapse] [collapse=Leveling up]With every level up you get one attribute point to spend as you want, and one new ability. At level ten and onward, whenever you level up you can upgrade an ability instead of taking a new one, receiving the bonus from that skill one additional time for each time it is upgraded. Each skill can be upgraded once for each ten levels you have reached.[/collapse] [collapse=Combat]Initiative Combat starts with rolling initiative. Each character has an initiative pool, which has dice equal to that characters Discernment plus their level. Each character rolls their initiative dice, and the results of all characters is noted. Each round of combat, starting at 6 and counting down, each character acts on each initiative step an amount of times equal to the amount of dice they rolled of that value. Each initiative step start with the character with the largest initiative pool and then goes in turn with all characters on that initiative step taking one action at a time. If characters are tied for initiative pool size, the player characters always go before the NPCs. For groups of identical enemies roll and take actions as a group. Example: John is fighting two goblins and a goblin shaman. The player is level 3 and has 7 discernment, so he rolls 10 dice, getting (1,2,2,3,3,3,5,5,6,6). The goblins are level 1 with discernment 5, so they roll 6 dice as a group, gettig (2,2,3,5,5,5). The goblin shaman is level 2 and has 6 discernment, so he rolls 8 dice, getting (1,1,2,5,5,6,6,6). The initiative order looks like: Step 6: John, Goblin Shaman, John, Goblin Shaman, Goblin Shaman Step 5: John, Goblin Shaman, Goblins, John, Goblin Shaman, Goblins, Goblins Step 4: No one Step 3: John, Goblins, John, John Step 2: John, Goblin Shaman, Goblins, John, Goblins. Step 1: John, Goblin Shaman, Goblin Shaman Actions When it is a character's turn to act, they can make one action. An action can be to move, to attack, to pull out your weapon or similar. During a normal action you can only make one test, so if you want to do two tests, you will need to spend an action on each. Example: John is in combat with the goblins, but his friend Kyle has not yet been seen. He wishes to sneak up on the goblins. Do to so during combat he will first need to make a stealth test, then spend an action on moving, and then he can make an attack using the successes from the stealth test as bonus dice. This takes 3 action in all. Attacking As an action during combat, you will get to attack an opposing character. In order to do so roll Adroitness plus applicable modifiers, including the modifier from your weapon. The defender can then try to dodge using his Adroitness plus applicable modifiers, or, if hit with a melee attack, forfeit their next action in order to parry, using Adroitness, applicable modifiers and weapon modifier. Attacker and defender roll their dice. If defender tries to dodge and wins the roll, nothing happens. If the attacker wins the roll, the attack hit and the attacker rolls for damage. Use the successes as bonus dice to the damage roll or to state facts. If the defender paired and won they make a counter attack. Treat this as if the defender hit with an attack. Next make a damage test. A damage test uses your Virility score, relevant attributes, weapon modifier and bonus dice from the attack roll, against the defender's Wherewithal, relevant attributes and armor. For every success the attacker gets they can do one of two things: Damage health: Reduce the defenders health by one. When a character reaches 0 health they die. Damage an attribute: Spend one success describing the fact about how you are hurting the opponent, and then an additional dice for each point you reduce a specific attribute. Dice can be split as the attacker wishes. When a player character is at under half health they can force the attacker to spend at least half the damage of an attack on attribute damage.[/collapse] [collapse=Resting]Every day a character can once spend 6 hours on a long rest, and twice one hour on a short rest. A long rest involves sleeping for the duration, with only minor breaks. After the rest the character can make a Wherewithal check with bonus dice equal to your level, against a difficulty based on the quality of the rest, where successes may be spent on removing wounds. A short rest involves one hour of light activity, such as a nap, eating, idle chatter, cozy reading or similar. After the rest the character can make a Wherewithal check against a difficulty based on the quality of the rest, where successes may be spent on removing wounds.[/collapse] [collapse=Magic]In order to use magic you must first have a spell casting ability. A spell casting ability contains one magic word that you can use the generate spells out of. When gaining level you can take a new spell casting ability with another word, or you can get two additional words and a +2 casting modifier to an existing spell casting ability. These two new words must be related to the first, and you can only upgade a spell casting ability once plus one additional time for each five levels you are. Gathering power Before you can cast a spell you must gather power. It can be done both in and out of combat. Gathering power takes one action in combat. To gather power, make a Cerebrality test against a difficulty of three. The difficulty can increase if you are distracted, hurt, or otherwise in a situation where focusing on it may be more difficult. All the successes from this roll may be spent as bonus dice when you are casting a spell, or for defining the spell. If you fail the roll the GM could for instance use the dice against you on your next attempt to gather power. Without spending a success to hide it, your gathered power is visible to everyone around you. If you want to make any test besides, dodging, resisting damage or effects, the amount of gathered dice you hold will be added to the GMs dice as bonus dice. If you are hit while holding dice you have to take a test to maintain your concentration, using your Wherewithal against the successes on the damage roll and the amount of dice you are holding. On a failure you lose all the power you had gathered. You can try to gather power multiple times before casting a spell, however if you try to gather power while already holding power, the amount of dice you have already gathered will be bonus dice against your gathering roll. If you fail the gathering roll you will lose dice equal to the number of successes you lost by. Creating a spell When you have gathered power you need to figure out what spell you want to cast. You do not have a list of available spells, instead you make them up on the fly out of your available magic words. Choose a name for the spell. Pick words fro your magic words. The first one is free, but each additional costs a dice but adds an effect to the spell. Decide a fitting effect for each word. Then spend dice on area of effect, and duration and range. Number of people affected Dice Single character Free Small group (about 5) 1 Large group (about 25) 2 Larger groups 4 or more Duration Instant/one round Free Whole combat 1 Entire Day 2 Longer 4 or more Range Melee range Free Medium range 1 Long range 3 Other Unnoticed 2 [/collapse] [/collapse] [collapse=Lore] [collapse=Hell] The home of the demons is a gigantic city with streets in many layers atop each other, interconnected by bridges and stairs. Mortals sent to hell are transported to a huge market where they are auctioned off as slaves to well paying demons. When demons die they are rebirthed in the hall of flames. The rebirth takes a half year for every time the demon has died before, but paying can shorten the process. If a demon is going to take too long to respawn and doesn't pay to shorten it, that demon is instead left in its state of nonexistance for all eternity.[/collapse] [collapse=Demons] There are several different types of demons. Most demons are spawned in hell, but some of them are born in the same way as most mortal races create offspring. Mortals can become demons themselves if a powerful demon transforms them. These transformations usually include a contract in which the new demon is indebted to the old. Succubi/incubi Pic Pic Sex demons, succubi and incubi are known for their enormous libido and are always impulsive. Their bodies are always incredibly well shaped. They enjoy fucking more than anything, but booze and drugs are also typically of their liking and most don't shy away from some fighting either. The mortals who become succubi and incubi are those with excellent sex skills, commonly high end prostitutes and sex addicted nobles. Devils Pic Pic Law demons, devils are known for their cunning and are very calculating. They enjoy making deals with mortals and other demons alike. Most of the other demons hate devils as they always try to ruin their fun. Mortals likely to become devils are manipulating and scheming people, including treasurers and mischievous noblemen. Oni Pic Pic War demons, oni are known for being aggressive. They enjoy nothing more than fighting, and while they prefer worthy opponents they are not above butchering the defenseless for a cheap kick. Oni are very tall, usually ranging in between eight and twelve feet, and are incredibly muscular. Mortals that become oni are great warriors. Imps Pic Pic Imps are small demons, they love fucking and causing trouble. Countrary to popular belief they are not child demons, and will not grow up to be something else, with the rare exception of particularly note worthy imps who may transform similarly to mortals. Unlike the other types of demons, imps are quite often birthed, as sexual encounters between a demon and a mortal will result in an imp. Imps will normally be male, but because of things like part fay in elves, occasional shemale and very rarely fully female imps can sometimes be born. Thieflings Pic Pic Thieflings are less common than devils, oni and succubi. Thieflings are stealth demons, specialicing in thievery and assassination. Thieflings all have long very dexterous tails. Mortals becoming thieflings are usually very skilled thieves and assassins. Hellhounds Pic Pic Large canine creatures. Hellhounds are extremely aggressive. They are capable of running much faster than most two legged creatures, and are strong and durable. Some have fur while others have exposed dark or red skin. While hellhounds are very rarely transformed from other creatures, loyal pets are occasionally turned into hellhounds. While Hellhounds are commonly created in hell, any type of pet can be turned into a demon, resulting in hellcats, hellbirds and the like. [/collapse] [collapse=Fay] Fay are a grouping of creatures associated with nature. Just like demons and celestials, different types of fay are created by the same magic and therefore adhere to some of the same rules, however unlike the two others they tend to stay together in small groups of the same race. Just like demons and celestials, fay can pop into existence from thin air, however unlike the others it is impossible for them to be born the regular way since all fay races consist of only one gender. Because they are just brought into existence fay don't age, this also results in part fay creatures aging slowly. Fay don't reincarnate when they die, instead they go to the untold lands. Nymphs Pic Pic Nymphs are all female water creatures. They all have gorgeous bodies and typically colorful hair. They are almost always naked and enjoy luring men over to their pond only to drown them, although they like women and children. They are bound to the pond in which they are created, unable to survive outside it for more than a couple hours. Nymphs are naturaly skilled in water magic and some have an affinity for life magic as well. Dryads Pic Pic Dryads are female fay that have two different forms. One is that of tall beautiful woman that lures travelers deep into the woods, where she turns into her second form, a monster of wood, and murders the traveler. Humanoid dryads appear very similar to elves, but they are a lot taller than most elves, typically around 7 feet, with only the very tallest elves reaching dryad height. When shifting to their wooden form they grow even taller, easily reaching 8 feet and sometimes even 9 feet tall. Fauns Pic Pic Mischievous and lustful forest beings. They are all shaped like men with goat's horns, ears, legs, and tails. The rest of their bodies are also very hairy. The love fucking and tricking mortals, often combining the two. Many fauns are skilled in divination. They usually travel alone. They are often confused with satyrs which are a mix of fauns and incubi. Tikbalang Pic Pic Tikbalang is a tall long limbed horse like fae creature. They are most active at night, preferring to move through the shadows. They live in thick forests and near mountains, where they try to scare or deceive travelers off their paths. If that fails and the traveler ventures too far into the Tikbalang's kingdom he is not above using force, bringing his long limbs to bear with impressive strength. Faeries Pic Pic Faeries are an all female race of fae that enjoys causing mischief, but compared to the other fae are relatively harmless. They are physically weak but have the power of flight and are skilled magic users. Faeries are small in stature, typically around 4 feet tall, but they can shrink themselves even smaller when needed. Unicorn Pic Pic Unicorns are all male equine shaped fay with a very characteristic horn in their foreheads. Unicorns prefer solitude, although they do sometimes befriend fey, elves or horses. Unicorns are very strong and extremely fast. They are also very intelligent and possess magical abilities. [collapse=Part fay] Elves Pic Pic Pale skinned, pointy eared, tall humanoids that either live in the forest. Elves are a mix of first men and different fay creatures. Elves were originally divided by the different types of fay, but later became mixed together, causing many of their traits to blend together. Elves are smart and dexterous, but their bodies are rather delicate and fragile. Dark elves Pic Pic Dark elves are even paler than their wood dwelling brethren. Unlike regular elves whose hair are shades of brown, blond and red, dark elves naturally have pitch black hair or occasionally pure white. Dark elves live in large cities build in caves beneath the surface. Dark elves are genetically not very different from regular elves, but they can trace their parentage back to a different mixture of fay. Satyrs Pic Pic Satyrs are fay demon hybrids, being half faun and half incubus. They look very similar to fauns, with the biggest exceptions being bigger dicks and hair up less of the legs, sometimes not even reaching up to the knees but always ending before their butt cheeks. They love fucking, partying and destroying things. Where fauns are more plotting and try to trick people, satyrs are more aggressive and violent at making their mischief. Unlike fauns satyrs travel in groups. Fay steeds Pic Pic Fay steeds are half unicorn half horse. Very occasionally a unicorn will take a liking to a mare and as a result a fay steed will be birthed. Fay steeds are beautiful like unicorns, but lack the distinct horn. They hold some of the unicorns' power, being both smarter, stronger and a lot faster than regular horses. Though they lack the ability to use magic they do have faint regenerative abilities. Unlike unicorns, fay steeds quite often breed with normal horses, and most horses used by elves are part unicorn. [/collapse] [/collapse] [/collapse]
