In the world of [i]yokai[/i], there are rare spirits and then there are [i]rare spirits[/i]. Yuumado Koji is a rare spirit indeed. Kitsune are renowned female spirits of Japanese myth, but there are in fact males of that particular specie as well. Yuu is a young one, particularly for fox spirits, at just over a hundred years old. Clever and amicable, he's still excited to be out exploring the wider world.

It's tough trying to get by in this Spirit Economy. The human world is replete with technological marvels and all manner of modern convenience, so where does that leave the spirits that they used to turn to in need? Some return to the Distant Shore from whence they came, others hang on as well as they can, trying to make ends meet. Yuu is one such case. A century or two ago and his little shrine was visited by all sorts great and small in need of favors, petty charms and minor wishes. Now hardly anyone happens upon his dilapidated little shrine, itself practically swallowed up by the monstrous modern metropolis of Tokyo.

What use has anyone for a fox spirit, you might ask? Well, all sorts of things! I mean, practically anything, really! Which is why you should stop by and pledge a couple coins to the fox's shrine. Why, he'd probably be so grateful he'd... well... I'm sure he'd appreciate it! So, come on, stop on by! Won't you? [sub]Please?[/sub]
