[color=white]Always looking on the bright side of things, at least whenever possible. He's willing to take the time to think of something good to say whenever he wants to cheer someone up, whether it's a joke, a funny face or a nice memory.[/color]

[color=white]Willing to go that extra mile just to finish his job that much quicker, not because he hates it but because he wants to see it done. It's rare for him to feel the need to take a day off and even rarer to see him slacking on the job.[/color]

[color=white]Usually prefers to see and hear both sides of the argument, not often will he side with someone [i]'Just because.'[/i][/color]

[color=red][b]Not too smart.[/b][/color]
[color=white]Will sporadically show moments of brilliance but they're far out-shined by his regular ignorance to most of the world around him. Never went to school, all he learned about reading and writing was taught by his adoptive family. Will prefer to spend his evening talking or sleeping than reading a book.[/color]

[color=white]Tends to act first and ask questions second. Something which has gotten him in some trouble before.[/color]

[color=white]If he hasn't learned something by now then it will be especially hard for him to do so. Unless he considers it important or has constant incentive to learn it he'll never understand it.[/color]

[collapse=Following In Their Footsteps][center]Kenneth was abandoned as a baby by his real family, his [i]human family[/i], he was lucky enough to be found by a very nice middle-aged couple of 'monsters' that took him in as their own. He wasn't the only orphan taken into their care, see, the couple weren't close enough in terms of species to reproduce with eachother so they both decided that to leave their mark on the world with the next generation they'd just raise as many unfortunate children that had been abandoned as they could.

It worked like a charm, as Kenneth grew he was joined by several other children with whom he tended to get along rather nicely, he did suffer some very minor discrimination for being the only full human but at the end of the day they could all put their differences aside and call themselves a happy family.

However, by the time Ken was 16, both husband and wife were getting rather old and very unfortunately passed away later that winter in eachother's arms.
Their whole family was shocked, they'd been the only ones who'd bothered to care and love each and every one of them, now that they were no longer alive what was the purpose of staying there? That was the logic of several of the Anderson children, one by one they began leaving the ranch until less than a half-dozen were left to care for the farm out of the original 20. Ken was one of them but you never know if anyone else will decide to leave.

[collapse=History][color=white]Created over 50 years ago, Anderson Ranch truly has a long and rich history, here are just [i]some[/i] keypoints in the farm's lifespan so far.[/color]

[justify][color=white]• 52 years ago, Jacob Anderson and Anne Anderson, create the ranch.
• 48 years ago, the crops yielded very little compared to the previous year.
• 45 years ago, the farm's crops produce more than expected! Enough profit was made that year to provide for the whole ranch for at least 3 years!
• 35 years ago, the young couple would like to have children.
• 33 years ago, another great year for the ranch with great profits!
• 32 years ago, a baby Kitsune is found by the couple, they decide to take her home and raise her as their own.
• 31-22 years ago, more and more child [i]monsters[/i] are discovered by the couple, in total they take in 6 more children.
• 20-17 years ago, a human baby is discovered, the couple take their first and only human child and make him a part of their family.
• 10 years ago, terribly bad year for crops, thankfully the family had saved up money from previous years and managed to survive along with the children.
• 5 years ago, 12 new members have been added in the last 17 years. Also important to note that this was the last year they found an abandoned child.
• 3 years ago, the elderly couple get sick, their adoptive children take over all of the farm work.
• Last year, the sweet old couple peacefully pass away in eachother's arms.[/color][/justify][/collapse][collapse=Business][center][color=white]The farm produces a wide assortment of vegetables, milk and meat that's then sold to local markets and sometimes even sold as exotic items in far away countries.
The ranch tends to make it even every year, every once in a while they get lucky and churn out a bit of a profit but that's hardly ever the case.
Whenever there's a bad year of produce everyone tends to tighten their belts and spend less through the year on tools, trips, luxury items and machinery.

Life immediately turned sour when the Anderson parents died and with more and more people leaving the farm as time goes by it's getting harder to take care of everything on their own, that's why the news quickly spread that the young teens/adults were looking for a few extra hands to help around the ranch. Warm food, a comfy bed and some nice company are their grantees, the only thing they ask for is for you to help them as much as you can.[/color][/center][/collapse][/center]

[collapse=Scene Ideas][small][color=cyan]By no means the only scenes i'd like to play, think of these more like starting points, actually that's pretty much all these are, ideas to expand upon and something we can play if neither of us is feeling particularly creative.[/color][/small]

[justify][color=red][b] A New Worker:[/b][/color] [color=white]The ranch is seriously lacking in personnel right now and they could use at least one more helping hand. They can't pay much, in fact they can't pay you at all but they're more than happy to give you a place to stay and hot meals for you to enjoy.[/color]

[color=yellow][b]Selling-Out and Moving On:[/b][/color] [color=white]Who're they kidding? There was no way they could make the farm work by themselves, Kenneth and his cow-girl little sister decide to sell off the farm and go together looking for a new life, either on another farm or something in the city.[/color]

[color=green][b]The Return:[/b][/color] [color=white]An old face returns to the ranch they grew up in alongside Kenneth, they've changed their mind and they want to make this thing work, together they're going to make this farm a success like the Anderson family had done before them.[/color][/justify][/collapse][collapse=OOC Stuff]
[justify][color=white]• I don't usually write long posts, i tend to keep myself between 2-6 lines and while i'm not a native English speaker i consider myself rather fluent, if you're not particularly knowledgeable on the English language yourself, that's fine! We all have to start somewhere and i'm quite patient so if you need up to like, 10-15 minutes or more to write your posts then that's fine with me, all i ask is that we both enjoy ourselves, if you're having fun with your posts then i'll like them as well.

• If you'd like to RP but you're too afraid to approach, please don't! This is not my first character, i'm more than used to talking to people and being nice with them OOC, in fact, some of my best partners were people who at one point were nervous about contacting me (maybe you'll be the next one~) and none of them were particularly bad in any way. I'm just a normal person behind the screen, there's absolutely no reason to be shy nor get all worked-up about it, especially over someone like me.

• None of the artwork belongs to me, i claim no ownership of it whatsoever, in fact i encourage people to see their work for themselves because they are indeed amazing.

• Might as well add that there's a possibility of me randomly [i]'poofing'[/i] due to my internet connection, it usually takes anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to return. I never leave without giving my partners a warning.[/color][/justify][/collapse][/center]
