Katya's Father used to be a colonial shaft miner working for the Common Wealth. When Katya was 8, her family moved to Solairon 9, a dwarf planet which was deemed uninhabited and rich of Iridium, making it suitable for a mining colony by the Soviet United Republic. Two years after colonialization they had to realize Solairon 9 wasn't as empty as they thought. Excavations deep underground unearthed a parasitic alien lifeform which began to attack the colony quickly, more than half the colony was deemed dead. Katya's father, being one of the workers at that time, was mostlikely one of the first victims, her mother passed after a shuttle crash. Katya herself, who was trapped in the same escape shuttle as her mother, survived but fell into a coma after suffering sever physical traumas and burns which led to quad amputation and skin replacement. She doesn't remember anything of the incident and only came to herself in the hospital after she's been mostly fixed up.

As colonial contracts dictate, she is officially in governmental custody and her artificial limbs are still government property until the co-insurance is settled. Since noone is able to pay for her, she has set out to earn the sum herself. Technically she doesn't have to get the money until she is of adult age, at which she would just have to sign a contract and could repay in installments through ordinary work, but she feels like she needs to "regain her freedom", since she despised the orphanage she was placed at. With nothing on her but what she's wearing she sets out to earn money.

[u][b][color=brown]Personality[/color][/b][/u]
At first glance people would call Katya an air-headed girl. She has a calm, almost melancholic nature, often innocently oblivious to things and easy to distract. She can be tomboyish and quick to mouth her opinion though. Due to her psychological trauma she sometimes dazes out like a deer in the headlights. She is fairly mature, but still inexperienced, notable by her lack of modern lifeskills and school education, of course she wouldn't admit that she's struggling with something as simple as reading a text.

[u][b][color=brown]Physique[/color][/b][/u]
Katya is approximately 13 year old. A small, healthy torso with smooth artificial skin that imitates real skin in all senses very convincingly. Her medium-length, red hair is usually kept in a ponytail. Her shoulders and hips are enhanced due to the size of the mechanical limbs and their rather large, mechanical ports.
Internally she is mostly naturally biologic apart from some endoskeleton modifications to support her prosthetics.

While usually wearing a swimsuit-cut leotard made of extremely flexible material, which purpose is to protect her still sensitive artificial skin, Katya sometimes wears a big shirt and skirt or a summerdress over it. For when it gets colder she has a large coat with pseudofur and a Ushanka, a memento from her father.
She also carries a satchel with her to store her stuff.

The prosthesis system used on Katya is widely accepted as the standard and very modular. They're easy to attach and detach for charging purposes and replacement. Katya currently uses government issued, humanoid limbs which are cheap, mechanical and rather clunky. Though there are a few higher quality legs and arms on the official market, rumors have it there are more or less illegal third party attachments which exceed the scope of normal limb-replacement. Ranging from animal-like legs to weaponized arms, a big variety was made obtainable on black markets.

"Canonical" Katya is vagranting on a mining colony outpost on a large asteroid. A dense futuristic city with mostly slum-like residentials and market-like shops. Think of the [url=http://i.imgur.com/roRXk2j.jpg]Omega station from Mass Effect 2[/url] or the [url=http://i.imgur.com/VSR37pJ.jpg]city from Deus Ex Human Revolution[/url] if you need something visual.

She has however means to travel via Space-Trains and Taxi-shuttles, so pretty much any planet-surface is possible as scenery. Even magical realms, which Science™ has found out to be a specific way of photon manipulation.

[u][color=brown]Scenes[/color][/u]
As a plot (or frame for the scenes) are prefered things like job offers or basic slice-of-life situations that evolve into scenes.
Examples can be parttime jobs. An electronics shop with untested hardware? A sitter or maid job with special tasks? A ranch with various animals that need "special care"?
Slice of life events are also nice: a check up at the doctor with some involuntary testing or coming across a seemingly abandoned house with a hidden lab or something run by a crazy scientist or rogue AI.

For scenes themselves i have a few ideas that i'd like to try out:
- Petplay, being given animal limbs and treated exactly like a pet. Usually a rich "owner", perhaps even a spoiled kid no older than herself.
- "Hide and Seek" she has to go out and find her clothes again one by one paperchase style while trying to avoid the stares [small]and cameras[/small] of commoners.
- Being given clothes that turn transparent/dissipate [small]in the most unsuitable of situations[/small].
- Being given armored limbs and weaponry [small]but lacking torso armor and clothing[/small] to fight off some alien lifeform(s). [url=http://i.imgur.com/XbgrxrV.jpg]Idea Spawner[/url]
- A nutjob scientist trying out all kinds of limb replacements on her: wheels, electric kitchen appliances, multiple spiderlegs... or hooking her up to a machine to power it or whatever.
