[color=orange]Asmara is a beautiful land of desert and oases.[/color] [color=gray]Rich in gold and sand, the Kingdom has been ruled for over six hundred years by the beautiful Nubelle line. Their dusky, smooth skin. Their lovely dark brown hair. And those absolutely enchanting light blue eyes that evoke images of a far-away land. The Nubelle Queenship as it has become known as has continually produced competent and beautiful female heirs for as long as anyone can remember.

The latest member of the royal line to ascend to the throne is the lovely Karimi Nubelle. Always seen with a soft smile on her face, there's a look that she has that may catch some by surprise. The woman is young, barely into her twenties, but one thing is instantly made apparent about her. She is ambitious, and horribly nationalistic. Karimi loves her land, and it's people, and she wants only the best for them. That means undergoing vast reforms. Restructuring of not only the Government's bureaucracy but also the country's society as well. In many ways, she has westernized her kingdom. With the creation of libraries, a modern education system, and the establishment of national colleges. But for every good she has borrowed from the west, she has made sure to pick and choose the bad.

Imperialism runs rampant in Asmara. Karimi has made her expansionist intentions no secret. Roaring speeches before an invigorated crowd. A modernization of Asmara's military that put their armed forces miles ahead of their neighbors. A purging of the officer corps, and new standards for those that wish to enlist. Karimi has set the stage for Asmara to dominate any of their neighbors, but that is only the first step. The young Queen has aspirations, large ambitions. Perhaps Queen is too small of a title - and Empress would be much more befitting of a woman like herself. In the war room, her eyes always trail over the maps, and linger on one spot in particular.

[color=gray]In the land of the Heathen, it's difficult to find solace. Not since the days of the great schism, where the East and West churches separated, has Asmara known such hostility. The Coptic nation finds itself surrounded by followers of a new religion, Islam. It's a dangerous time to be a Christian in the eastern lands. But Karimi isn't frightened. She knows these dogs bark worse than they bite.[/color]

[color=gray]The great explorers of Europe have set sail in search of new lands and new riches, and they found far more than they could ever have dreamed of. As more and more ships sail eastward, and trade begins to open with the Far Eastern lands, Asmara becomes a common stop for European merchants. The country's friendliness towards Christians, and location in coastal Arabia makes it the perfect spot to become a new center of trade in the region. Attracting foreigners from far and wide. And what sort of Queen would Karimi be if she didn't invite these foreign dignitaries to her court?[/color]

[color=gray]The turmoil of the Great War was felt even in Asmara. Karimi has learned from the failures of the now crippled Central European states however, and has totally modernized her army. With a strong Air Force, a brand new Navy, and the best military equipment money can buy, this Queen Militant is ready to expand her borders as the world rolls up it's sleeves and prepares for the 2nd bout.[/color]

[color=gray]Terrorism, cyber warfare, and an unsteady "peace". Who has time for all that crap? The only cyber warfare Karimi is interested in is the sick burns she deals out on her twitter account. In all seriousness though, Karimi is an enterprising young woman. With the constant shake-ups and beat-downs occurring in the Middle East, and with tensions rising around the world, she's ready to spring into action at the drop of a hat.
