Hermes is a proud and distinguished inventor, he travels alone across the land to find a suitable power source for his late father's greatest invention. Although he's dedicated to his task, he likes to live life to its fullest, and approaches each new situation with confidence and unyielding optimism; however underneath it all he has a deep and burning desire to be sexually dominated.

Hermes grew up in a big city with his mother and father, who were both influential scientists and inventors. Although he poorly understood their position when he was younger, he understood that they worked with the government and were making strides in the fields of science and technology. They had told him that they had stumbled upon something great, something that would change the world: they called it the Space-time Resonator. However, tragedy struck the very next day; the volatile experiments that the agency was making went wrong, leading to a massive explosion and fire in the lab, killing both of his parents, along with all of the data surrounding the device. However, the device itself was kept in safekeeping during the experiments, and was bequeathed to Hermes a few days later.
Although Hermes was stricken with grief, he decided that instead of wallowing in sorrow, he would bring his parents' invention to the world. The largest power plant in the whole city couldn't make the machine work for even a short amount of time, so he left the city behind, and now travels the land searching for a large enough power source, and creating his own inventions along the way. Although he isn't as smart or as inventive as his parents were, Hermes does his best to follow in their footsteps.[/collapse]

Hermes is a very pleasant and upbeat person, some might even describe him as charming. He is an optimist and an opportunist, and this extends to his sex life. Although Hermes is perfectly content to forgo sex and focus on his inventing and adventuring, he will seize an opportunity if it presents itself. Although he appears confident on the surface, Hermes is somewhat inexperienced, and is more comfortable when others take charge in the bedroom.
Hermes is not without his faults; his optimism can quickly turn to arrogance as he approaches situations he's not prepared for. He's also prone to clumsiness, and his gadgets are prone to being improperly used or malfunctioning. He can also be impulsive, and will sometimes not realize the consequences of his actions until it's too late.[/collapse]

Hermes has invented some small useful contraptions over the years.

Metamorphic Rods are small metal rods that separate into thin but powerful metal cords on command. Hermes can throw them like bolas to incapacitate someone, secure rope, or use them to temporarily mend other broken gadgets. In their solid form, they are comparable to metal staves, and they are Hermes' weapon of choice.

The Heat Stone is a small oval-shaped metal device that can vibrate at varying frequencies. He can fasten it to his body to heat himself in cold conditions, and with enough power it can break apart most materials.

Affixed to his feet are Hermes' Jump Boots, which use compressed Nitrogen taken from the air to jump great distances or temporarily hover. He can also detach the canisters and throw them to temporarily disorient his enemies.

Hermes also has a shrinking device that he is working on, although it is highly experimental and dangerous, not to mention unfinished.

Although his gadgets are mostly for exploration and self-defense, he may also use them in the bedroom.

Hermes stops by his home city, meeting up with a good friend of his. After so much time out adventuring he seems to have forgotten the life he left behind. His friend convinces him that it would be a good idea to stay a while and take a load off, setting him to have dinner with an old female friend. Hermes graciously accepts, and while the meeting was intended to be platonic, Hermes begins to feel like he's been too busy for romance, or even sex, and tries to see if he can make something happen with this girl. If the evening goes right, maybe they'll both be happier at the end of that day.

[/color]Hermes is constantly on the lookout for new sources of power, never glossing over any rumors of powerful artifacts, seeking out the most powerful wizards, scientists, demons or reality benders so that they can teach or bestow on him with the power to finish his father's invention. Your character either has this power, or has something that is granting them this power, and Hermes will stop at nothing to get at it. First he would approach you civilly with deals, then beg for it, offering all his possessions, even his body for it. If that failed, he would try to steal it if possible, leading to a scenario where he would most likely be caught and 'punished' accordingly.

Hermes' latest and most frustrating project has been a shrinking/enlarging device. A tough task to say the least, and with a astoundingly low number of test volunteers, his only option is to test it on himself. Although he usually takes every precaution to make sure the changes can be reverted, this time the device work, shrinking him down to a few inches tall. Unfortunately the enlargement side of the device is still inoperable, leaving Hermes in quite a bad predicament. Will you be the friend, co-worker, tavern keeper, or shipmate to take advantage of his situation? (Open to trying Soft Vore)

Hermes often walks alone and at night through dangerous locales, leaving him a prime target for predators. A chill growing on his neck as he's stalked by his assailant, whether it be a feminine anthro beast, alien, shapeshifter, band of orcs, or just a regular person with a sadistic streak, they would wait for the perfect moment to leap out of him, subdue him and violate him, having their way with him until they are finished, and then either leaving him just as quickly as they went, or leaving him to a worse fate, such as death or enslavement.[/collapse]
