D0-11Y is a service-class android who serves as a hydroponics engineer for anyone who needs her skills. Like most androids of her class, she was allowed to have free-will after the production and forced labor of high-intelligence androids was deemed unethical but the destruction of several sentient intelligences was decided to be too cruel. Due to the way service androids are programmed, she still has a subservient and restless personality that feels more at ease doing something than being idle, but without instruction programming the android has filled all available hours that are not devoted to working or recharging to thrill-seeking, learning, or occasional socializing. Androids all have a large store of data with which to respond to their world around them, but most find that this built-in encyclopedia is incomplete without also containing data on every sense applicable to the subject and also seem to think that self-recorded data is far more vivid and useful. This almost compulsory desire to complete and flesh out their databanks drives many Service-class androids to prefer surprisingly risky or hands on tasks and hobbies. This also makes androids diligent workers and hobbyists who tend to obsessively practice their craft to mastery and then suddenly change their minds completely once able to do so conveniently. That said, many androids do have certain preferences built partially from their original role and partially from their individual observations meaning that each is capable of having a unique personality and having a handful of interests that stay consistent throughout their lives. Since the personal needs of android are sparse: all they really need is occasional maintenance, energy, and something to store, defrag, and backup memory. The income they earn tends to be spent on new chassis', accessories, and upgrades with which to further their range of experiences or on educational courses. Because of this, they also tend to have small apartments with storage facilities twice the size of their living space, in which they have more than once been observed to let organic friends live in. Service-class androids often become somewhat emotionally dependent on a small circle of friends, though it is not clear where this particular behavior comes from asides from apparently maintaining mental health.

DO-11Y in particular has a somewhat motherly personality and seems to have a preference to roles which require her to be a caretaker. In the past she has served as a midwife, nurse, day care instructor, and as part of a rescue unit. D0-11Y has a much less intense personality than most other androids who are often very fast-paced and quick to act. She finds pleasure in a much slower and more in-depth method of data analysis, and tends to stick with careers and interests for a lot longer than many of her kin. D0-11Y has determined that creating responses of happiness and safety in other beings will be her metric for performance, and seems to always be willing to help or assist those around her. Unfortunately, this has led to her being taken advantage of or has put her in situations in which she has been placed under too many obligations to bear, but despite everything the android maintains her composed demeanor with confidence that her work ethic and dedication will solve all problems. D0-11Y has a very feminie personality, and more coincidence usually has very feminine appearing frames. Most of the roles D0-11Y has served in required a non-threatening and comforting appearance after all.

A service-class is capable of compatibility with a large range of enhancements to both its body and its programming, allowing to be useful in a wide range of situations. After all service-classes were given free-will and it became obvious they weren't threatening, a booming industry was made from their demand to constantly enhance and change themselves to better experience different thrills or perform new functions. The androids wanted to experience everything: including sex. It should be of little surprise to find the rapid expansion of sex products and enhancements designed for Service-class androids. D0-11Y is no exception, and owns several chassis units and other enhancements that allow her to perform both basic sex and several more unique sexual acts. D0-11Y is heavily embarrassed by them, but can be surprisingly into it when you get her going. D0-11Y will never turn down the opportunity to own new "toys", and isn't very difficult to get in bed.[/collapse]
