Barnaby is a ferret and a butler. Although he has a generally posh and dignified demeanor, this can lead to egotistical behavior if he's not kept in check by his peers. He has a slender, lithe body type but does not like being considered effeminate, preferring to consider himself a "classy" and "refined" gentleman instead. He has a fairly thin skin and is easily teased by others, especially those he secretly admires, and beneath his prideful and proper exterior lies a very sensual, possibly even slutty, interior. He has typical anthropomorphic ferret anatomy which includes a fairly flexible body and a medium-short length tail (~18"). The majority of his fur is a dark brown in color including the mask around his bright grey eyes. However, the area around his face is a lighter beige and there is a bright pink nose on the tip of his muzzle.

Barnaby is insanely curious and once his interest has been piqued, it can be difficult for him to forget about a subject. This can be used to your advantage.

[collapse=History]Barnaby was raised in a moderately wealthy family with three siblings. His parents instilled a sense of pride in his species, and he takes great offense to any who insult it. At the age of fifteen he was sent to a boarding school where he was not only trained in maths, the sciences, and humanities but also in etiquette, food preparation, as well as the basics of self defense. He graduated with honors from the school, but never received his degree due to the school not actually being accredited. Frustrated and angry that his parents had been scammed, the ferret went on to earn back his living by doing the one thing he had been trained to do: butlering. While his brother and sister followed their own professions, Barnaby served many millionaires, CEO's, and hotels. Once and awhile, he'd find himself in a situation where the pleasure to serve really was all his.[/collapse]

[collapse=Clothing]Barnaby wears a white buttoned down shirt, a black tux and black bow tie, as well as black slacks. However, the clothing for his hind quarters does not tend to remain there for long. He's a mischievous little ferret and he often finds himself in compromising situations that leave him without his precious pants. It's not too much of a loss though, since those pants just tend to get in the way. Barnaby can also be played in a "bottomless district type setting", which means that he does not wear any clothing below the waist.[/collapse]

[collapse=Barnaby's Adult Enjoyment Emporium]The ferret runs a store next door to Claire Erajna's "Secret Sweater Shop" filled with what he claims are "intricate models celebrating the virlity of the male form". However, everyone else just calls it a sex toy shop. The ferret treats all of his items with special care and treats his customers with considerably less. Regardless, you're sure to find the perfect fit even if the mustelid will undoubtedly ignore any questions or concerns. If he had his way, he wouldn't make a single penny off this shop as it's more of a way to show off his sizable collection than anything.[/collapse]

[collapse=Ethics/Approaching me]When first contacting any of my characters, please do so out of character at least on our first meeting. If Barnaby [b]the character[/b] seems too mean towards your's, keep in mind that he is just a character. His thoughts are not mine and are by no means my opinion of you. He's just being his snobby, classist self. Who knows, in a few posts you may just have him on his knees begging for more.

As far as OOC interactions go, I don't mind the use of emoticons, txt speak, etc. They can help give context to a person's statement and turn a seemingly serious sentence into a sarcastic or playful one. However, when playing in character, please refrain from using such shortcuts and smiley faces. Describe your feelings if need be. I don't want a jumble of symbols cluttering up the RP.[/collapse]
