The Betrayed Queen, once a powerful, immortal sorceress, abandoned her original name long ago, when was left to die on a battlefield by those who had sworn to serve her. Her neck gashed open, blood flowing from the open wound, she was sure that the Plains of Abraham would be her eternal resting place, as the Paladins of Northeon rode forward, celebrating their victory over the Queen and her armies. But she didn't die. No, she wasn't that lucky. Instead, the Head Paladin - THE FOOL! - saved her life, believing in his pitiable "mercy", and took her back to the Northeon capital of, uhh... Northcapital? [sub]Yeah, that sounds good.[/sub] There, the Head Paladin, who was named... Sir Roderico Brightstar... Tried to convert her over to the side of "good"! THE ABSOLUTE FOOL! The Betrayed Queen bided her time, regained her strength, and when she was finally once more at her TRUE POWER, she broke the chains that the paladins bound her in, and she escaped from their pitiful prison, and, and, and she-!

[sub]MOOOOM, SERIOUSLY. I'M BUSY IN HERE! JEEZ. NO, IT'S NOT SILLY. I'M THE BETRAYED QUEEN. I JUST GOT REINCARNATED, OKAY? GOSH.[/sub]

Ahem. As I was saying, The Betrayed Queen escaped her confines, and is now on the hunt to find the lieutenants which abandoned her on the battlefield that fateful day, and exact vengeance upon them, before she turns her gaze once more on the goal of conquering the entire world! Muahaha... Muahahahaha!

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

[b]-Actual Background-[/b]

Alice Riverstone, up until the summer between 7th and 8th grade, was a very typical young girl. Unfortunately, at the end of 7th grade, there occurred an incident which changed her forever. It was her birthday party, which her mother had told her she had to invite aaaaaalllll of her "friends", even the ones who were actually the mean girls of the school. The short version is that these mean girls humiliated her at her own birthday party, while her real, actual friends, even the best amongst them, just stood by and watched, and left with everybody else after the humiliation was finished.

Alice was destroyed by that event. She refused to leave her room for days, just lying in bed and crying, a broken young girl. As time went on, however, her mind and souls proceeded to heal itself... But in an unusual way. Unable to accept the reality of what had happened, all of her friends betraying her and leaving her for figuratively dead, Alice began to construct an alternate persona in order to explain to herself what had happened, and why. And thus, [b]The Betrayed Queen[/b] was born.

The Betrayed Queen, like her, had been abandoned by her closest companions. It only made sense that, as the reincarnation of The Betrayed Queen, Alice, too, was destined to forever be betrayed by those she trusted. Unlike Alice, however, The Betrayed Queen was powerful, powerful enough to exact vengeance upon those who had forsaken her. Alice began dressing much more strangely, and used make-up to paint a scar across the front of her neck - A reminder of her own betrayal, as well as The Betrayed Queen's.

As 8th grade came around, she was no longer (outwardly) concerned with her so-called "friends" who had left her a sobbing mess at her birthday party. No, for she was now the incarnation of [b]The Betrayed Queen[/b], who had no need for friends, for trusting other people, or anything of the sort. She, as an avatar of vengeance given flesh, would bide her time in the darkness, in the corners of the school where nobody else could find her, and wait...

Of course, it's hard for a teenage girl to "take vengeance" in that manner. Instead, Alice has coasted on into high school, still as chuuni as the day [b]The Betrayed Queen[/b] was born, and with no end to it in sight.

[b]-Personality-[/b]

Hmph. You wish to know my personality, mortal? Very well, let me tell you...

I, [b]The Betrayed Queen[/b], am the most powerful sorceress in all of the lands, having achieved eternal life with my powerful magicks! Unfortunately, those foolish Paladins of Northeon sought to challenge my rightful rule as Sorceress Queen, and waged war again me! However, my domineering, strong-willed spirit did not give in so easily, as I commanded my armies to...

Wait, what? You wanted to know my new body's personality? Oh... Very well then...

[b]-Actual Personality[/b]

Behind the bravado of the false personality of The Betrayed Queen, Alice is, more than anything else, a scared little girl. Scared to trust, scared to love, scared to ever put her faith in anybody ever again. This is what drove her to create that fake persona, and that is what drives most of her actions in the day-to-day world. It would be hard to gain her trust, but, if you have it, you would have it forever.

She remains in-character as often as she can, although her teachers will frequently berate her for calling them "pitiful mortals!" Alice actually really likes cute things, and has a secret stash of stuffed animals hidden in her closet, away from anyone who might walk into the domain of [b]The Betrayed Queen![/b] Ahem, I mean...

Due to her experiences, Alice believes fully in the concept of keeping promises and never lying or deceiving another person's trust in her, and to that point will sometimes go to extreme ends in order to not "betray" another person, sometimes ending in serious detriment to herself.

More than anything else, though, Alice really is just a typical teenage girl who just found herself unable to cope, and hid her own self away, instead.
