[b]Aiko Takara: Little Sister Samurai[/b]
Being the younger sister of a feudal lord people expect a lot from Aiko, and that doesn't bode well with her one bit. In the eyes of the rest of her family she has become somewhat of a rebel, refusing to show up to greet important visitors, inviting common folk to the palace. She has her reasons of course, not that anyone understands why. Her main reason for acting the way she does is because of the fact that she loves her older brother so very much, but he confines himself to his room all the time and seems to be oblivious to her feelings. Disobeying her family's wishes is simply the only way she can get her bother to notice her.

[u][b]Backstory[/b][/u]
Aiko's family history is a story mired by betrayal and violence. Fortunately for her all of that happened many years before she was even born and as a result she is blissfully unaware of it. (Read Masaru Takara's bio if you care about all that)
Aiko has lived a very sheltered life and desperately wishes to leave it and experience the rest of the world, regardless of how it conflicts with her family's wishes. She even went as far as to practice swordsmanship, and is confident that with her skills she would be able to battle her brother to a draw.
