Gnolls are a fractious lot. Divided into numerous tribes, their extended families roam across the surface of the world, generally breaking things and being nuisances. This tribe is one of them. Fiercely familial, the gnolls revere their ancestors, offering them sacrifices and honor equal to their deities. Other evil races find the practices silly, and the gnolls often have to deal with the condescension of drow. This tribe was established many years ago by the gnoll "hero" Kar, and thus the name. They have done well over the years, taking part in raids and successful assaults, but times have gotten somewhat hard lately. Recently they were part of the great host of the Dark Lord Varro, and have scattered like most of the army to find safety after his banishment to the Plane of Shadow. Reactions to the failure of the Villain have been mixed.

Like many monster tribes, they often kidnap women from other races to supplement their women. But rather than the horror stories of cruelty and terror, sometimes the captives decide they enjoy their new family, and refuse to leave even when given the chance by wandering heroes. Not that their new markings of tattoos, brands, and piercings would allow them to pass unnoticed and unmarked as gnoll-brides and mothers.
[collapse=Major figures in the Tribe]Orro - Warchief and tribal leader. Fierce follower of the Dark Lord Varro, is certain that one day he'll return to subjugate the realms under his lash. Now that the army is dispersed, is fighting to keep control over the tribe. Only wants the survival and glory of the tribe to continue - his own pleasure comes from obedient wives, strong sons, and wise daughters. Straight man of the group.

Sil - Orro's nephew. Cares more for pleasing women than fighting. Loves wine, incenses, oils, and particularly the smoothness of bare skin without fur. Has a tendency to cum early. Jokes often, and is joked about often.

Kerr the Leasher - Primary slaver of the tribe. Brands, binds, leashes, and otherwise marks new entrants into the tribe. Is extremely disappointed at the failure of Varro's host, and in his mind cares not for the deities who have abandoned his people.

Visk and Tisk - Somewhat cruel twins. Have a tendency to stay utterly silent, until they start finishing each others thoughts. Were the primary lovers of the last priestess who died recently, and if they mourn her passing, they don't show it.

Malko - Last magical user in the tribe. Learned how to cast various healing spells, buffs, and other simple remedies while in the host, in order to better ease the burden on the more experienced mages. Is surprisingly intelligent, and is always eager to learn more about the world, where people are from, and so on.

Tana - Female gnoll, in charge of crafting the tribe's day to day needs. Is yet to marry, Orro is under pressure from her to find her someone strong and loyal.[/collapse]
