Warrick Willows, or Wally if you wanna call him that, discovered he had the affinity for magic from a young age. Every kid's dream right? Well not when the prejudice for magic users and mage hunts are common, it's really not too good an idea to broadcast that you know magic. Wally lived in a small village that was relatively accepting all things considered. The village children avoided him, the adults shunned him and blamed him for every little thing from fires to bad weather, of course it was only him SOME of the time, he still didn't like getting accused when he wasn't doing it. At least the villagers didn't pike him, mutilate him, and burn his remains like most other villagers would. It was this harsh childhood that molded him into the sneaky smuggler he was today, and though he never really got the knack for using magic as some people, he still learned enough to become one of the best damned lowlifes in the kingdom. He learned what most mages would call child's play like enchanting pouches to hold more than they should or turning small objects invisible and levitation to a mild extent. He mastered the craft of lower level magic basically, using it in as many strange and inventive ways however the closest thing he ever got to conjuring a fireball was a tiny flame, no bigger than a match. At least it helped start fires when he was traveling. While most of his magic was harmless and was closer to parlor tricks the danger of being found out. Even though the attitude towards magic users lightened since he was a child, it was still an unfriendly climate in most of the kingdom.

Currently Wally belongs to a magic guild that takes in contracts and quests for numerous well paying people who need a certain touch or an impossible task completed. While most the menial smuggling work was tossed off to Wally he didn't complain. He actually kind of enjoyed the simplicity and impossibility of some of his jobs. Nothing quite like smuggling a whole nest of dragon eggs stuffed up your ass with a magic "of holding" spell cast to make sure nothing looked suspicious, or smuggling dresses over by charming the guards to only see noble ladies out on a stroll or shopping trip. Aside from thieving and smuggling contracts, he's occasionally given the odd adventuring job, usually they involv lots of traps and old artifacts that needs to be stolen, this pits him up against guardians, monsters, and sometimes even dragons.
