You know the type, probably have one either in your family or just the neighborhood: That old, deceptively tired man whose appearance betrays the yokel of age as it creases his brow and saps the color of both hair plus complexion alike. That ancient, forgetful, sometimes raunchy and sometimes melancholy-filled man that silently commands respect with gaze alone yet at times can be so uncouth as to make even the most accommodating of people roll their eyes. The grey, hunched over kind of man that seems as if they had had their share of the world a hundred times over... and yet in some cases, as with "Gramps", hide under their skin vigor and sprucely charm that men half their age would kill and die for.

Jiro Mori was always a man of the world. Survivor of more than one crisis, a couple wars and more than a fair share of loves and misadventures; he is a man as recognizable for his longevity as he is for the thick scent of cigarettes that permeates his being, his presence in betting parlors all over town and the cheeky smile that accompanies him wherever he goes. Smart, lecherous, cynical and always with an eye out for the next chance he can get to satisfy his vices (yet never one to abuse, or so he likes to think); Jiro is the kind of man that would as eagerly try and charm the skirt off a retirement home nurse as he'd be cheating death if only it meant he could get at least another night of good-natured fun out in town.
