A spirit of luck and good fortune Ginjiro Rae is a traveling Maneki Neko or also known as a lucky waving cat. The most common place people know of this is from the statues and figurines of these felines in various stores and restaurants near the entrance. The story behind the cats raised paw is that it is beckoning people over thus bringing more business. Being a personified spirit of these cats, where ever Gin goes people and even animals experience great prosperity and happiness from his presence alone.

This passive ability has often caught the attention of those with more sinister and darker plans for using it themselves. In these rare cases the maneki neko has but one way of preventing those who try to use him for evil. This defense simply change the polarity of the luck from good to bad, this has been given a variety of names from, the Maneki's Curse, to the Cat's Glare and the myth of the black cat crossing your path due to its surprising effect none see coming. The price to do this however is his very life itself. When this occurs his once white and red hair turn pitch black as his spirit slips away the body remains in a petrified state until those that had caused it have passed allowing the body to turn to dust. This doesn't mean that he is dead however, for being a spirit connected beyond the plain of life and death, he has gone through numerous reincarnations learning something new from each past life and bringing some of it to the next. The memories of his past lives don't completely transfer when he moves onto his next reincarnation, as only fragments of the strongest feelings between people he knew and skills that he thoroughly learned remain in his mind with each rebirth.

Ginjiro in most of his life cycles has a natural attraction to travel which can lead to a wide array of experiences from the extremely lucky and even sometimes the very unlucky. More often then not he seeks knowledge and understanding going to the farthest reaches to learn even the most minute things. Moving constant Gin travels through a lot of places bringing the luck of the maneki neko with him. Thus, being a spirit from the heavens, he is even worshiped and given gifts as praise and tribute to him. Being given something out of kindness or for the sake o others in need it vastly improves the luck bestowed upon that person while the maneki neko is there and can even persist after he leaves. If something is given to him for one's own personal gain it has no effect on the person's luck. These gifts can be anything that is given with good intent in their hearts.


[collapse=Abilities/Skills]Although he does poses this amazing ability of granting those within about half a mile of him luck it seems he lacks any other sort of magic or supernatural abilities. Beyond that power of his the only other special trait he has is his unnatural body, making some people skeptical to the idea of him some how granting people vast amounts of good fortune. Thanks to being a spirit that traverses between life and death it has granted him an amazingly sturdy and resilient body. Able to self regenerate rapidly, maintain a powerful immune system, flexible form and able to take even the hardest of hits without falling to pieces. Though this does not make him immortal in the least bit since he will still day from most anything fatal he will live far beyond the average human lifespan but will eventually pass away. One could say he is super human, if it weren't for the fact that to make up for his durability he isn't the strongest person around, in fact, he is rather average in strength compared to a normal human.

Gin's skills may almost seem endless ranging from carpentry, sewing, swordsmanship, thievery, alchemy, hunting, artistry, tradesman, archery, marksmanship, martial artist, you name it he probably did it at some point in one of his past lives. Though now he mostly uses his skills just to get by or to help out with his business he sometimes lends his skills out for the right deal or close friends. [/collapse]

[collapse=Personality]Ginjiro's personality doesn't change much between his different life cycles. He enjoys helping out where ever he can and from his vast travels and past lives he has learn a wide variety of skills from the many places and lives he has lived through. His worldly experience has made him a rather wise and understanding individual often preferring to think things through before taking action. Gin has a friendly attitude often trying to see the good in others but also understanding that not everyone can be reasoned with. One of his greatest weaknesses though is his difficulty handling things that get out of hand that he can't control. As things begin to get difficult h can often times think of a solution but when he can't the lad normally start to panic and struggle. In situations that demand action he'll try his best to think his way through but when things look badly he tends to try and avoid trouble at all costs. Enjoying the company of others but also the solace of traveling by himself he's comfortable in most circumstances and likes to be on even ground with those around him which also explains his uneasiness with people who have more aggressive personalities and his worry over those who are rather reserved.[/collapse]

The information is the original story and concept behind this character I leave him open for adjustments to better fit into any RP. He can either be a human or neko if so desired. His back story can also be adjusted and tweaked to better fit a certain setting or scene. Leaving these open for change makes it far easier to place Ginjiro into almost any RP so feel free to toss out ideas on how you see him fitting into an RP!

Although not having any magical abilities, besides the passive luck he radiates, the only other thing that makes him special is the very robes he wears which are practically indestructible to most normal means of harm and even when destroyed will reform within the span of an hour. Along with being solid protection, his robes also maintain a pocket dimension with which only he has access. Within the dimension it holds everything he owns making travel fairly convenient since he doesn't have to physically carry his possessions.

Gin has a small personal cargo ship which he uses to transport rare goods he's collected himself or has been hired to do by other companies/organizations. His most notable tool is his Multipurpose Overlay Computer or M.O.C. for short which in all intensive purposes serves as a digital computer and manufacturing tool able to be carried on the arm with ease and used during on the field.

Owning his own antique shop he lives in the upper floor of the shop which is more often then not crowded with rare or strange things from around the world that he's either collected himself or had delivered to him by friends. Other then carrying a rather ordinary cell-phone he is your average-joe who just likes to tell stories and read about mythology and science as he has a large book collection of fiction and non-fiction up in his room.

During his stay at a small traditional Japanese town Gin was going about his usual trading and selling of his wares and stocking up supplies for his next trip, but unbeknownst to him he apparently caught the eye of a legendary kunoichi [icon]Ibuki Kami Fomu[/icon] who decided, without even speaking or showing herself to him, that she would make the lad her wife. As he was getting ready to get some much needed rest and relaxation at the local inn thoroughly enjoying it open air bath he was soon ambushed and challenged to do battle by the ninja for his hand in marriage as the prize. Unfortunately for him he was taken out in one fell swoop and soon awoke to find himself the bride to a ninja goddess and he clones.

Gin had gone to a local fertility clinic curious to see what exactly they do at such a facility since he'd never been to one before. As he sat in the waiting room he couldn't help but notice
[icon]Augury Rose[/icon] Filling out a form for the clinic and noticing an silly mistake on the sheet. Just after submitting her application it seemed she felt the need to "rewarded" Gin for helping her out. Though to his surprise and dismay this turned out only to be a throat full of thick panther dick and without so much as a chance to respond he was knocked up by the potent feline and dragged back to her home to stay as a brood-mother. Now he currently spends his time trying to keep his mistress happy while apparently getting to know the rest of the family too.

Ok so there are a couple things that need to be said, if you didn't read any of the profile info please at least read this.

So first things first, I LOVE detail, the more detailed you write the more I'll want to RP and write back in return, that being said you don't have to write a whole page or something. Now one thing that has come up time and time again is small posts. Look I'm fine with a bit of 1-2 line banter/fun going back and forth but eventually when things start rolling I expect to see more since when I get into something I start writing more. The problem is if we do 1-2 lines for a bit then I write 4-7 lines I expect to at least get 4-7 lines in return and if all I get is 1-2 lines my mood will be completely ruined and I'll no longer want to RP. Now I understand sometimes you can't post that much based on the situation in the RP, but the more times it happens the more and more I'll lose interest until I'll either poof in utter disappointment or I'll tell you straight up that it isn't working out.

Another important detail is more often then not I'm told I'm either too human or that the cat tail and ears are too much, now although I change Gin into an anthro I am more then willing to play him as a regular looking human. Its easier to see him without the ears or tail then picturing him as a full fledged furry.
