[indent][color=#1]Cora Thorngage is a halfling of many skills. Unlike most of her kin who are either unfettered wanderers or layabout homebodies, Cora falls somewhere in-between. The burdens of responsibility called for her at an early age, and being one of the few young people in the backwater of Ferovale, she had little choice but to answer. The result is that she is a little high strung, and prone to tempestuous fits of unbecoming irritation. How can everyone else be so careless?! Still, being the town innkeeper, carpenter, landscaper, and tailor has it's perks! For one, she's rarely bored- though the tedium can get to her- and two, the occasional adventurer comes by and makes things interesting for her.

[indent][color=#1]A fittingly small settlement for equally small people, Ferovale is a backwater settlement populated mostly by elderly and retired halflings. Ferovale isn't really noteworthy by any means, but it does have the benefit of location. If one wishes to travel through the deep woods to the mountains of the north to go hunting (likely for wyrms or giants) it's the perfect place to stop for a night's rest.

Cora is the latest in a long line of Thorngages, mostly notable for their utter lack of noteworthy accompishments. Certainly, a few of them have gone off on ventures and accomplished some things of minor note, but when it comes time to brag about the deeds of one's ancestors, poor Cora is left wanting. Unlike most, Thorngages tended to live to retirement age and typically died of natural causes rather than horrible adventuring accidents like being horribly cursed, erased from existance, burnt to a crisp, or enjoyed as a tasty snack by a passing dragon.

This lack of ambition is seemingly hereditary, too. Cora focused her efforts not on finding worthy quests to partake but instead on making Ferovale a better place for it's residents.

This first took the form of her being an innkeeper. Ferovale didn't get many visitors- and even less who weren't family of one of the residents- and Cora was the only one who lived alone after the passing of her parents, so it was largely an informal title at first as long as one didn't count the sign planted in her yard. It's a rare occasion, but she does from time to time play host to the occasional group of travelers provided they fit in the squat five foot tall corridors of her burrow.

Halflings don't buy many new clothes, and so she took up tailoring to learn how to repair them! Adventurers and townsfolk alike always needed fresh patches sewn into the elbows and knees of their garments, and holes mended and her little fingers were perfectly suited for nimbly maneuvering a needle.

And then there was the art of landscaping! Why, an inn must be attractive to potential visitors, right? And how better to do so than quaintly and intricately arranged beds of Flowers lining the premises? This went on for some time, until she'd come to learn a variety of different useful skills and trades. If someone in town needed something done, why, they would just go to Cora!

[indent][color=#1]Cora rises only to the humble (and in her opinion, correct) height of three feet and five inches tall. While she's certainly small in comparison with most other mortals, she's certainly not without her own charms. For one, her hair is a pretty dishwater color that is somewhere between gold and brown depending upon the light cast upon it and is in bountiful bouncy curls. Her eyes- though they are usually glaring- are pretty, a light blue with the occasional flecks of green within her iris. Her ears are small, but come to sharp little points and occasionally twitch like an animals when there are particularly loud noises. She tends to dress herself in a frumpy manner, favoring practical commoner's clothes, and usually (though, not always) keeps her feet bare so that the tufts of dishwater blonde hair upon their tops can be seen.

[indent][color=#1]To say Cora is high-strung is something of an understatement. Loads of responsibilities have made her take most everything rather seriously! On top of that, she's not exactly patient for niceties or frivolities, and tends to be direct and straight and to the point. She's mercurial, quick to flash from her hot temper to moments of softness back to being red-faced with steam practically coming from her ears once she realizes she's let her guard down.

[color=#1][b]✦[/b]- Cora's favorite drink is Cider. She has a small orchard, and makes it herself. Her own special reserve is especially alcoholic.
[b]✦[/b]- On the rare moments of downtime she gets, she likes to relax on her porch with her smoking pipe.
[b]✦[/b]- Other hobbies- which she rarely gets to indulge- including reading and nature walks, though she can rarely steal the time away those things demand.
[b]✦[/b]- Cora has gone on adventure once or twice, and could potentially be persuaded to do so again... If only there were some way to convince her Ferrovale would not fall apart if she took more than a few steps away.

I'm looking for [b]long term[/b], [b]smutty[/b], [b]story-driven[/b] roleplay in [b]fantasy[/b] settings with interesting, dynamic and attractive characters. Please enable me this little fantasy. Cora is made for slice-of-lifey stuff, though she can be involved in other, more narrative driven roleplays and the like with a fair bit of ease. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Cora is generally fairly abrasive to try to get close to. She's very much a tsundere, though perhaps not in the over-exaggerated anime way. She can be grumpy one moment, sweet and warm the next, and then as cold as ice. Keep that in mind.

I'm not a writing elitist, and will gladly do my best to match post lengths. I tend to hover around 5-8 sentences as a comfortable range, but I can and often do write more. You're also not obligated to match MY post length if I'm getting especially florid and lengthy, that's usually a good sign that I'm into things. When all else fails, just communicate any concerns you have with me OOCly.

That being said there is nothing I adore like a great writer.
