She has long, silky black hair reaching down to her slim hips, deep blue eyes, a yellow chevron painted across her face and a line across her forehead as her Kiffar tribal markings. She has B-cup breasts, visible six pack abs, and an unshaven sex covered in downy black hair. She has a calm, forceful, authoritative personality, though she is kind and caring, even toward strangers.

Her chosen style of lightsaber combat is Niman, also known as 'The Way of the Rancor', 'The Moderation Form', and the 'Diplomat's form'. This fighting style was a hybrid martial art created by effectively combining elements of the preceding lightsaber forms into a single, generalized form. Niman balanced out between the various specializations of the other forms, covering many of the basic moves, but focusing on overall moderation. This resulted in a fighting style that lacked a significant advantage, but also lacking any serious drawbacks, and thereby not leaving adherents as exposed as some of the more aggressive or specialized forms. Overall, Niman had a fairly relaxed focus on bladework, designed as a simple, easily mastered fighting form for Jedi who preferred to devote most of their time to study and diplomacy. Despite this, it could be absolutely deadly in the hands of a skilled practitioner. Ultimately, Niman's success in combat was dependent on a practitioner's intuition and creativity in combat, rather than the rote responses common to the other forms.

[collapse=History]Asta was born on the planet Kiffex to a female prisoner of the planet, being taken from her mother after birth and adopted by one of the guards, who raised her up until the age of seven, using her curious ability to predict the moods and truthfulness of the prison's populace to predict and investigate riots, escape attempts, murders and other crimes, snuffing them out before they ever began. When she was seven years old, a Jedi Master and his Padawan were transporting a pair of dangerous prisoners to the facility and took notice of her strange talents, determining after some testing that the young girl was attuned to the Force. While the guards were reluctant to release their charge, they were eventually convinced that it was in Asta's best interests - After all, if they left the girl, there was a fair chance that a dark side user might come force her into apprenticeship.

Asta became a Padawan four years after this event, at age eleven, and reached full Knighthood at age nineteen, eight years after that. She is a skilled, clever swordsman and is naturally adept at sensing other being's intentions and emotions, though her command of the Force as a weapon is barely above average. She continues to be sent on missions to various parts of the galaxy, slowly but surely improving her skills and hoping to one day become a Master.[/collapse]
